Congrats to Neil on this doozy! First customer of the year and it will go pope and young to boot. That early gun season certainly didn't destroy his year (sry but I just had to..) as a returning customer he chose a wall pedastle and I'm certain that he won't be disappointed

Day 2 adjustment make me smile, especially on a re-caped deer. You'd never know that the drapes don't match the carpet😏

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: if you have a deer from opening weekend get it to your taxidermist ASAP. I just cleaned up one deer from opening weekend that was beginning to pick up a smell which means it's at a higher potential of slipping fur if it is not slipping already and I will not be held responsible for deer that have slipping fur. I do have capes that I can sell if that were to happen but it's just an added expense that I don't believe anybody wants.

Lots of big deer coming in this year. 1 went 164 and another at 154, and a couple 130s to boot. Keep them coming as I certainly appreciate the chance to grow and show off your trophies!!

I know this wind isn't ideal but do yourself a solid and take at least 1 shot with your scoped firearm if that's what you will be using tomorrow. It's not about knowing your weapon, it's about confidence in knowing that it is still on target. Good luck to all tomorrow and know that my freezers and cooler are ready for the inrush of deer!

The best thing about hunting in 65 degree temps during rut is that my glasses don't fog up. 😆😆This just don't feel right ..

Everything was made in house except for the eyes and earliners. There was some slippage and a wound near the eye that made for some added creativity in order to use the original cape. I'll get 650 for an identical mount.
