Nash Fry deserves a quick shoutout after his heartbreaking loss this past Tuesday. Nash was leading on the final lap in the 2021 Indy 200 and got caught up in a wreck ending his chances at the win. This year might’ve been even more heartbreaking, as he had the lead on the final lap under caution, and ran out of fuel in turn 3. Fry is destined to win the Indy 250 in ICAR and will be a favorite headed into next year.

COLLIN HENDERSHOT DOMINATES AT THE INDY ROAD COURSE FOR HIS FIRST WIN SINCE SEASON 11! Hendershot showed off his road course prowess by qualifying on pole by over four tenths of a second, and then went on to lead the most laps and beat Kyffin Simpson by over a second. We are happy to have Hendershot back and he showed everyone early that he’s a force to be reckoned with in Season 13.

RYAN CAMINITI GETS HIS FIRST CAREER WIN AND IT COMES IN THE BIGGEST RACE OF THE YEAR! Caminiti has been so close multiple times, and was finally able to seal the deal after Nash Fry ran out of fuel under caution on the final lap, giving the lead over to Caminiti. It was a six car battle to the lead after a restart with under 15 to go, that saw the lead change 5 times in 6 laps. Corbin Balke and Kyffin Simpson came up just short finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Over 1/3 of the field led a lap in the race and 90% of the race was run under green with multiple green flag stops. One of the best ICAR races in recent memory.

For winning this race, RC will be awarded with an authentic Culver Block autographed by Alex Palou and Kyffin Simpson.

KYFFIN SIMPSON WINS AT TEXAS IN A PHOTO FINISH! Simpson battled to the line with Aaron Spear, Corbin Balke, Evan Jewson, and Colin Kulpa in a five car pack swapping the lead back and forth. Our first race of season 13 was Simpson’s fifth career win, and we are so excited to finally be in the INDYCAR. Next week we are off to the Indianapolis RC to kick off our month of May!

CORBIN BALKE IS A SIX TIME ICAR CHAMPION!!! Steven Raqueno won the race at Las Vegas after a hard fought battle throughout the entire top 5. An incident involving Blair Bean took him out of championship contention midway through the race and Balke was able to stay clean and come home with a league record 6th championship. This was an unforgettable season, and we are extremely excited to be transitioning to INDYCAR for Season 13. This will be our first time racing open wheel full time and we couldn’t be more excited. BLAIR BEAN WINS HIS SECOND RACE OF THE SEASON AND CUTS THE LEAD TO 18 POINTS! With only one race remaining Beans has chopped the lead almost in half and looks to earn his first career ICAR Championship. Next week at Vegas, Corbin Balke clinches the title with a 4th place finish regardless of what Bean does. Bean needs a near flawless race to put the pressure on Balke.
