CHANCY ROGERS - HITTING AND DEFENSE

COACH CHANCY ROGERS HAS BEEN AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE 59 BASEBALL ORGANIZATION FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS. WHETHER YOUR LOOKING FOR HITTING OR DEFENSIVE WORK, COACH CHANCY CAN HANDLE IT.
A GREENE COUNTY GRADUATE, CHANCY WENT ON TO PLAY COLLEGE BASEBALL AT JONES COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE WHERE HE RECEIVED THE PRESTIGIOUS BOBCAT AWARD HIS SOPHOMORE YEAR.
A STANDOUT SECOND BASEMEN, WITH AN EAR FOR MUSIC. CHANCY LEFT BASEBALL FOR A FEW YEARS TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AS A SINGER/SONGWRITER. AFTER LIVING IN NASHVILLE FOR A WHILE, AND LOOKING TO RETURN TO THE DAMOND, HE RETURNED TO BASEBALL AS AN INSTRUCTOR WITH RAWLINGS PROSPECTS IN ST. LOUIS.
COACH CHANCY ALSO COACHES IN OUR HIGH SCHOOL SHOWCASE PROGRAM WHERE HE LED THE 17U 59ERS TO A CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE KEITH HAGAM MEMORIAL THIS SUMMER.
