I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. As we are starting the last week of 2023 and looking to 2024 it is also time to make it official. On April 1st 1992 Steven's Golf Shop began with my father and I taking a chance in the retail golf and repair business. It has been good to me for a lot of years. Through the years I have met and helped a lot of people through golf. I have also made a lot of friends and several really good friends that have blessed me more than I have them. I have seen a lot of changes in golf over all the years and they will continue to change I am sure. In 2019 I had the chance to purchase Gulf States Golf Cars and it has been a great opportunity. Since then I have been running both businesses and both have continued to be successful. I want to thank everyone for the support of them both. With that being said, I have found over the last couple of years that my passion for the retail golf and repair has dwindled and passion for the new cart business has grown. This feeling has brought me to a decision I have been struggling with but have decided to make. It is hard to walk away from something that has been your life for so many years and built with your father( I think if he was still here he would be okay with it) and still a successful business. All that to say that this is the last week of the retail and repair business of Steven’s Golf Shop. I will continue to provide for my corporate customers and hopefully grow that business as well as grow Gulf States Golf Cars. I can never thank everyone enough for all the support over all the years. I can try though, THANK YOU!!!
