I love the lesson we learn from The Tortoise and the Hare: "Slow and steady wins the race." We live in a time where we want instant gratification. Unfortunately our health doesn't work that way. It takes changing our mindset and reprioritizing our lives. I don't have some huge physical transformation story. What I do have is a change in the way I think. Until recently, I was a quitter. le obstacle got in the way of what I was working on, I wouldn't go back. I was allowing negative thoughts to control me. "I've failed, what's the point." I made a decision in Sept 2014 that I was no longer going to be a quitter. I missed a day of my workout that I had just started and I had a choice to say screw it, I failed again, or to push forward. I decided to push forward. For the first time I finished an entire workout program, T25. I have made goals and can actually see myself reaching them. This website I hope will be a place of motivation to keep you moving forward and not let bad days get the best of you.
