PARKOUR MAKING A COMEBACK TO RC!!
Hey, it’s been a while! BUT PARKOUR IS COMING BACK!
Thanks to Bloom Fitness Studio, we (Coach Steven Kleeger and Ethan Havig) now have a new indoor space to start coaching classes again. We are very aware of how much this community yearned for parkour, how much love the community found for the sport, just as much as we love it ❤️🫶🏻
I WILL SAY!! This will NOT be how it was, as much as we loved IMA, this is just going to be different and new, fresh and fun. It’s going to be great, just in its own way, and not without the occasional homage to what came before 😉

SO IF YOU MISSED US, then come to the Grand Reopening of this Saturday August 19th, from 3-7PM to get resigned up for parkour! See you there!



P.S. ~ I know I’m biased, but I do have to acknowledge the groundwork that Dani Fitchett and Derek Fitchett worked so hard to lay. Without them, parkour in Ridgecrest simply wouldn’t be. The love and dedication we’ve seen in some of our students has really shaped them and given them an outlet, given them a place to shine and be themselves. That’s the beauty of this sport, and Dani and Derek are the ones who made it all possible. We’re determined to make their hard work no longer be in vain through this lense 🙌🏻

My god, when will I let this go??
I mean 🤷🏻‍♂️ I put in all this work to film and edit all the progress of IMA 2.0. My laziness and procrastination do prevail me most of the time but after a year of already being closed…..here it is. The first 3 episodes of IN THE MAKING. Are up on our YouTube! Feel free to watch it and laugh, cry, skip thru most of it and not even finish watching it 🤷🏻‍♂️ I needed to get this out ther because I’ve been holding onto them for too long. Will there be other episodes of the rest?? Maybe 🤷🏻‍♂️ who’s to say? Maybe in another year.

Today is IMA’s last day of classes and our final open gym. If you’re not coming to classss than we hope to see all of you at Open Gym 12:00p-1:30p ❤️

This final week has been filled with so many emotions like frustration and anger, but mostly we are grateful for all of you.

Thank you for everyone that has shared with us your stories about your kids, your love, your appreciation, and even your frustration.

Keeping our gym open was an obstacle we could not overcome but we will find a new path. IMA as a gym is done, but as a community we are still here.

We need some time to process all of this and finalize the closing of our business

So for now, we leave you with a quote from our friend Toorock who created the very first parkour gym in the US, American Parkour.
