Coach Kennedy has been involved in martial arts since she was 6 years old, training in boxing, kickboxing, Shotokan karate, and both gi and no-gi grappling and jiu-jitsu. Over the years, she’s competed in tournaments across California and Nevada, earning multiple medals through hard work and dedication to the sport.
Outside the gym, Kennedy works full-time with special needs children and brings years of childcare experience along with CPR and First Aid certification. Her coaching style focuses on building confidence, discipline, and respect while creating a positive environment where kids can grow both on and off the mats.
Her classes combine structured warm-ups, skill-building drills, technique training, and live grappling to help students stay engaged while learning real fundamentals. Kennedy believes consistency, accountability, and encouragement are key to helping young athletes succeed, and her goal is for every student to leave class stronger, more confident, and proud of the work they put in.
