I’m excited to announce that beginning next week, I will be adding an 8:00am class on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

When I first started, I never imagined I’d be in a position where women were asking for additional class times. As schedules change and more women look for ways to fit strength training into their lives, I’m happy to be able to offer another option.

Current class times:
• 8:00am
• 9:00am
• 5:00pm
• 6:00pm (waitlist)

If you’ve been interested in joining but haven’t found a class time that works for you, send me a message. I’d be happy to answer any questions!

Thank you to all of the women who continue to support Solomon Strength. I’m looking forward to welcoming a few new faces to the morning crew. And special thanks to Amber Chalker and Jessie Leigh Senn for the photo op 💕💅

Despite a few speaker issues and them having to endure my singing until it was fixed, we had a great time this morning! And so glad Wendy’s mom could join in on fun at the end!

Photo 1: The beginning.
Photo 2: After losing over 100 pounds and skin removal surgery.
Photo 3: Nearly 5 years later—still maintaining, still growing, still getting stronger.

I spent years chasing “skinny.”

I thought if I could just get to a certain number on the scale, I’d finally be happy with my body.

In 2020, I started my weight loss journey and lost over 100 pounds. Like many people, I became obsessed with getting smaller. I spent the next year chasing the last 30-40 pounds, maintaining my loss, and eventually had skin removal surgery in 2022.

But somewhere along the way, my goals changed.

I stopped asking:

“How can I get smaller?”

And started asking:

“How can I get stronger?”

I stopped relying on endless cardio and started focusing on habits I could actually sustain.

I learned how to lift weights.

I learned how to build muscle.

I learned that health is about so much more than a number on the scale.

Today, I’m not the lightest I’ve ever been.

But I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.

My legs are stronger.
My arms are stronger.
My body is more capable.
My habits are healthier.
And I’ve maintained my weight loss for nearly 5 years.

At almost 40 years old, my goal isn’t to be the smallest version of myself anymore.

My goal is to be healthy enough to enjoy life, strong enough to do the things I love, and capable enough to keep showing up for myself and my family for years to come.

The woman in Photo 1 wanted to lose weight.

The woman in Photo 3 wants to build a life she can maintain.

And that’s a goal worth chasing.

❤️

The scale tells part of the story. The habits I’ve built tell the rest.

Hannah crushed her first week!

One thing you’ll never have to wonder about with Hannah is whether she’s having fun. She’s always smiling, always dancing between sets, and always bringing positive energy into the room.

What I love most is that she shows up ready to work. No complaints, no excuses—just a great attitude and a willingness to keep getting stronger.

Week 1 is officially in the books, and I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes over the next few months. Keep showing up, keep smiling, and keep putting in the work, Hannah. We’re proud of you! 💕💕💕

✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: DONNA ✨

One of my favorite parts of coaching Donna isn’t just watching her get stronger—it’s trying to catch all the faces she makes when she thinks I’m not looking. 😆

Whether she’s giving me the side-eye during a workout, pretending she’s not tired, or insisting that her finger “accidentally slipped” that one time when I’m pretty sure she flipped me off… she keeps us laughing every week.

But behind all the jokes and personality is a woman who has been putting in the WORK.

🔥 Since January:
-Down 48.6 pounds
-Down 6% body fat
-Down 6.5 inches off her waist
-Down 4 inches off her abdomen
-Gained 5.4 pounds of muscle (hell yeah!)
-Skeletal muscle up 3.4%
-Visceral fat down 3 levels

And she’s done it the way I love to see—showing up consistently, building strength, and creating habits that last.

The scale tells part of the story, but the confidence, energy, strength, and determination she’s built along the way tell the rest.

Donna, I’m proud of you. Even if I have to keep one eye on your workouts and the other on your hands. 🤣❤️

48.6 pounds down and still going strong.
