Hannah crushed her first week!

One thing you’ll never have to wonder about with Hannah is whether she’s having fun. She’s always smiling, always dancing between sets, and always bringing positive energy into the room.

What I love most is that she shows up ready to work. No complaints, no excuses—just a great attitude and a willingness to keep getting stronger.

Week 1 is officially in the books, and I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes over the next few months. Keep showing up, keep smiling, and keep putting in the work, Hannah. We’re proud of you! 💕💕💕

✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: DONNA ✨

One of my favorite parts of coaching Donna isn’t just watching her get stronger—it’s trying to catch all the faces she makes when she thinks I’m not looking. 😆

Whether she’s giving me the side-eye during a workout, pretending she’s not tired, or insisting that her finger “accidentally slipped” that one time when I’m pretty sure she flipped me off… she keeps us laughing every week.

But behind all the jokes and personality is a woman who has been putting in the WORK.

🔥 Since January:
-Down 48.6 pounds
-Down 6% body fat
-Down 6.5 inches off her waist
-Down 4 inches off her abdomen
-Gained 5.4 pounds of muscle (hell yeah!)
-Skeletal muscle up 3.4%
-Visceral fat down 3 levels

And she’s done it the way I love to see—showing up consistently, building strength, and creating habits that last.

The scale tells part of the story, but the confidence, energy, strength, and determination she’s built along the way tell the rest.

Donna, I’m proud of you. Even if I have to keep one eye on your workouts and the other on your hands. 🤣❤️

One thing I’ve worked hard to build at Solomon Strength is an environment where women can walk through the door exactly as they are.

Whether you’re brand new to exercise, coming back after years away, lifting your first dumbbell, or lifting heavier than you ever thought possible, you belong here.

You don’t have to earn your place.

You don’t have to keep up with anyone else.

You don’t have to be the strongest person in the room.

Every woman in my classes is on her own journey, and my goal has always been to create a space where women encourage each other, celebrate each other’s wins, and feel supported every step of the way.

If you’re nervous about starting, know this: you will be welcomed, you will be coached, and you will be cared for.

After a workout, diaphragmatic breathing can help:

✔️ Lower your heart rate more quickly
✔️ Shift your body from “fight or flight” into “rest and recover” mode
✔️ Reduce stress and muscle tension
✔️ Improve oxygen exchange and breathing efficiency
✔️ Promote recovery after exercise
✔️ Improve body awareness and core engagement
✔️ Leave you feeling calmer and more refreshed

It’s a simple technique, but a few minutes of focused breathing can have a big impact on how you feel both physically and mentally after a workout. 💕

Well… the power went out during warm-ups. 😅

We had every excuse to call it a day, but this group wasn’t having it.

No lights. No problem.

We opened the doors, worked with what we had, and got it done anyway. 💪

I’m incredibly grateful for this group of women who continue to show up, work hard, encourage each other, and prove that progress doesn’t require perfect conditions.

Looking at the flyers in the front window today made me realize how many different opportunities our community has to get active.

Not everyone enjoys the same type of fitness, and that’s okay. Some people enjoy women’s strength training, some enjoy Jiu-Jitsu, some prefer HIIT classes, and others do best with one-on-one personal training.

What excites me most is that there are now more options than ever for people to find something they enjoy and can stick with long term.

At the end of the day, it isn’t about one specific class or program. It’s about helping more people move, get stronger, improve their health, and find a place where they feel comfortable.

I’m grateful to be a small part of that and excited to see more people in our community finding their place at BL Gym.
