We finished in second place by two birds. That score represents 490 out of 500. Our previous best was 479 out of 500. We point toward the state tournament every year. We had numerous PR’s set today. I will post more in the coming days. I am exhausted…but thank you shooters, families, coaches and sponsors!! We won this award because it is truly a group effort.

We had a great last practice before states. Had several scores in mid to high nineties. Ryan Staley got his first 50 straight, proceeded to make that a 75 straight and ended with a personal record 97. Congrats Ryan.

We shoot Sunday at Black Wing for states. Opening ceremony at 8 and we commence shooting at 9.

I logged on just to make sure and there was no opportunity for a second squad. I think that is a terrible thing that they so severely limit the number of shooters, but there is nothing I can do about it.

The Clay Target League state shoot in Minnesota hosts over 8400 shooters so I think the national should be able to do more than 3000.

When I log on today to check the roster, I saw that they had taken down the button to register a second squad tomorrow. So I reached out to the league and they responded immediately and you can see in the picture below that teams are only permitted to send one squad this year.
