While Power Yoga builds strength, stamina, focus, and resilience, Yin Yoga provides the complementary skills that every well-rounded teacher should understand: recovery, adaptability, nervous system regulation, and joint health.
Yin teaches us how to slow down, observe, and work with the deeper connective tissues of the body. Through longer-held postures, practitioners develop patience, mindfulness, and a greater understanding of how mobility and stability work together.
As teachers, understanding both the yang and yin aspects of practice allows us to better serve a wider range of students and create more sustainable movement practices.
Trainees will explore:
✨ The principles and philosophy of Yin Yoga
✨ Functional anatomy and individual variation
✨ Fascia, connective tissue, and joint health
✨ Nervous system regulation and mindfulness
✨ How Yin complements dynamic and strength-based practices
✨ Sequencing and teaching Yin classes
