People don’t fail because they aim too low.

Usually they fail because they try becoming Captain America overnight.

I used to do this all the time.

New routine.

New plan.

New life.

Lasted approximately 36 hours.

Turns out consistency is incredibly boring.

Start smaller.

Make it repeatable.

Then stack.

Comment MONDAY if you’ve ever accidentally made your fitness plan impossible.

One of the biggest mindset shifts I ever made:

Stopping the idea that food had to be earned.

A burger doesn’t require punishment.

Dessert doesn’t require suffering.

One meal doesn’t undo months of consistency.

The cycle I see most:

Eat more
Feel guilty
Overcorrect
Burn out
Repeat

Instead:

Eat.

Move.

Train.

Get back to normal.

Consistency beats compensation.

Comment NORMAL if you’ve ever tried to out-cardio a weekend.

One of the fastest ways to kill motivation is pretending the scale is the only thing that counts.

I’ve watched people lose 2 pounds and feel like failures…

Meanwhile:

They’re stronger.

Sleeping better.

Passing standards.

Feeling better.

Showing up consistently.

Getting compliments.

Actually building habits.

Progress isn’t always dramatic.

Most of the time it looks boring while it’s happening.

Then one day you realize:

You became the person who actually follows through.

Comment WIN, what’s something that’s improved that has nothing to do with bodyweight?

Some people treat stepping on the scale like opening an email from leadership.

If I don’t look…

maybe it’s not real.

Meanwhile:

Buying supplements.

Starting Monday.

Running every day.

Trying everything except collecting data.

The scale isn’t judging you.

It’s just giving information.

Comment SCALE if you’ve ever delayed stepping on it longer than you’d admit.

If you want to learn how to control what you eat, and not gain a spare tire or spend hours obsessing over accurate macros and calories, DM me EATING and I will send over the Battle-Ready Portion Method.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🔥

This feller has every excuse in the world.

He moved across the country.

He’s training out of a home gym that’s still a work in progress.

He’s got 8 anchors in his shoulder from surgery just over a year ago.

And yet…

He keeps showing up.

He keeps getting his workouts done.

He keeps finding ways to make progress instead of reasons not to.

That’s the difference.

Most people think results come from finding the perfect program.

They don’t.

Results come from stacking enough good days together that progress becomes unavoidable.

That’s exactly what he’s doing.

No fancy gym.

No perfect circumstances.

No waiting for motivation.

Just consistent effort.

Most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a week and underestimate what they can accomplish in a year.

A year ago, he was recovering from shoulder surgery.

Today, he’s back incline benching and continuing to build momentum.

Good gravy.

Proud of this feller, Bryce Chateau

Keep getting after it. 💪

One of the fastest ways to clean up your push press:

Fix your dip.

Most people try to create power by dipping deeper.

Usually that just turns into:

❌ knees shooting forward
❌ chest collapsing
❌ force leaking everywhere

Instead:

✅short dip
✅vertical torso
✅stay balanced
✅aggressive drive

Your legs create momentum.

Your upper body finishes the lift.

Simple adjustment.

Big difference.

Strength isn’t built by doing the hard things once.

It’s built by doing the simple things consistently.

Train hard.
Put your weights away.
Don’t make the next lifter star in a Grinch remake.

Woo… almost lost my cool there. 😤

The Swoly Ghost 👻 for the new gym shirt 💯
