Many years ago, at Christmas time my parents took me to the Christmas tree farm to find a tree as was our custom. This particular year my mom had decided the tree should be more natural and rustic in its ornamentation. So imagine her delight at finding a white pine with a little brown ball of a growth on its limb. “It’s a natural ornament” she says… “let’s leave it just as it is” she says. Well that tree came inside that night and was decorated with simple baubles. It was cold outside, but not in our living room. It seems the warmth inside triggered the hatching of what turned out to be an egg sack. It was, in fact, the egg sack of a praying mantis. So one morning we awoke to what seemed to be thousands of tiny praying mantis hatchlings crawling on the walls and ceilings throughout the house. Hordes moving all about. There, in the middle of it all was my mom and her rainbow vacuum cleaner committing what could only be called the 80’s mantis genocide.

Tonight I got to sit across from mom wearing this shirt for a xmas dinner.

Seriously, the previous version of this Adaptive Tactical bag is my most used, go to, range bag. Whether it’s the an AR, my CMR-30 or, at times, a pair of AR pistols, it’s been an all time great bag. It’s on sale and I’m looking at it thinking about getting an extra and wondering what upgrades this version may have.
