Our VIKINGS are 8-1!! The team made a real impression on me today. They took the lead early, just as quickly loss the lead, then fell behind, turned the ball over, fell further behind, the coach then made a bonehead decision and passed on a short FG on 4th down, Buffalo then goes down the entire field and scores a TD. At this point my trust in our team is shaky, very shaky. Then our team really went into Torture Over Drive Mode, we're down by 17 and then our Team wakes up, score a TD, then Buffalo scores and then we score. Well Our VIKINGS are down with less than a minute and WE Can't Score From 1 yard out. Buffalo takes over at the 1 with less than a minute left. Woo is Me, ... Buffalo Fumbles The Snap And There's A Mad Scramble In The Endzone For The Football, Many, Many Tortured Seconds (seemed like15 minutes) and Our VIKINGS Are Awarded The TD. YES, YES, YES TOUCHDOWN VIKINGSSSSSS, Kicked the Extra Point and We Have a 3 Point Lead with about 30 seconds remaining in the game. I'll spare you the long version ... in less then 30 seconds Buffalo moves into the red zone and then Our Team stiffens and They kick the tying FG, ... Overtime. We Won the coin toss and move down the field, get in the RedZone and Settle for a FG. Buffalo then moves the Ball down the field, gets into the Red Zone But Then Our VIKINGS Intercept Allen in the EndZone ...

And Now I Know Without A Doubt ... OUR VIKINGS Can Play With And BEAT Anyone, A N Y O N E!!!

Our VIKINGS Won in Miami earlier today. I was happy to see Teddy Bridgewater out there playing well for the Dolphins, a little to well at times. I hope I'm not busting anyone's bubble. But, our defense is very suspect and leaks like a sieve. Our Offense finally put some plays together late in the 4th quarter and scored a TD to put us up 14 with around 4 minutes to go. Our leaky defense then allowed the Dolphins to go right on down the field and score a TD before the 2 minute warning ... 6 point game. Our VIKINGS can not keep teams down and just put them away. I'm not putting All the Blame Solely on the defense, Our offense isn't setting any records either. We have to many 3 and 4 and outs and not helping our defense out. We started (I believe) 3 drives inside of the Dolphins 40 yard line and came away with Zero Points. That is Not Acceptable by any standard, much less for a team that is supposed to be Strong on offense. I'll take a Win Always but the entire team needs to improve their play, Offense, Defense and Special teams and possibly Coaching too. Y'all know I'm not the president of the Kirk Cousins fan club but I have admit that he isn't the bum I used to think he was. Today, the offensive line truly let him and us down on a number of plays. I saw 2 or maybe 3 Dolphins defenders come straight up the middle of the line with little to no resistance. Kirk, Tom, Josh, Rodgers or Mahomes could not have escaped these bone headed gaffes. Kirk was sacked 3 times and didn't have any turnovers. I take that as a great day with the win. The 5 - 1 record is great but in my opinion, our guys have only played 1 decent game and the was the season opener against the Pack. With that said, I have high hopes for this season but the play must be tightened up. A 5 - 1 record going into our bye week plus a 2 game lead in the division after only 6 weeks, I'll definitely take. Our VIKINGS get back to business in 2 weeks against the Arizona Cardinals and I'll be there in person to give O'Connell my expertise, if needed, LOL LOL.

This is the shakiest 4 - 1 team I've seen in a long time. What is going on with our team that they CAN NOT hold onto a lead. It's like we are trying to be a real contender but aren't sure how to do it. Is it just me or does our coaching staff (defense) lack the ability to adjust during the game. And I can't figure out what our defense is suppose to be. We can't stop the pass or defend the running game, so just what is the defensive scheme supposed to look like? Because if it's not to stop the pass or runs, then it's working perfect.

Hi Gang, I know it's been a while and we're 4 games down in the season. I just didn't feel right saying anything until now. I didn't trust the Packers game as being what to expect from Our VIKINGS. If, they couldn't get up for the Packers and at home, too. Then, they wouldn't be able to get up for anybody. Then on to Philly and they lay an egg or a half dozen. I thought here we go, same ole, same ole VIKINGS. I wasn't jumping Ship (Will Never Happen) but I didn't have a warm fuzzy feeling either. Then, there were the Lions and Yes, it's a division game and never a gemme. However, Our VIKINGS were down by double figures twice in that game, but we won and a win is a win. Then we travel out of the Country to play the Saints in London and struggle All Game long. I wasn't able to actually see the game but reading the play by play with the delays between plays. Good thing I truly don't have a bad heart but if I was inclined falling off any wagon, that was the game. The Saints are using their backup QB and yes, I know Andy Dalton is a very good veteran QB. The defense couldn't stop them even when they had a lead, that you'd think would be motivation. Then, (I'm not getting it) there was the same ole offense. Trying to force the ball to current players, 1 and 2 yard passes and turnovers. But, in the end, they found a way to win and that is 100% better than finding a way to lose. Now, this coming Sunday with a win over the Bears, the Good Guys will be 3 - 0 in the division with 1 game remaining before the bye week. 13 games left in this season and if this ratio holds up, that's a 13 - 4 (12 - 5) record and I'd be happy with that heading into the Playoffs and who knows.

Hello VIKINGS Fans and friends, it's almost time for some real Football. I'm getting my Cheering and/or jeering voice ready, LOL. I hope everyone has been having a great offseason and you're ready to help OUR VIKINGS have a winning season. The 53 man roster has been set (always subject to change). I have to admit I was somewhat surprised that Kellen Mond was released. Were there any surprises for you? I don't get into the scouting side of things that much. I just put my heart into the team that we are presented with. Here's to Hoping for a Wondering VIKINGS Season.

Hello Friends ... yes, I know it's been a while since I've posted. I was raised that if you don't have anything to say, then you should remain quiet. I hope you all are doing well and staying safe.
Well, the draft has come and gone and I like the look of the new rookies. I'm not 1 that follows college players like I'm a scout. So, I don't know who the Vikings should or should not pick up. I looked at the players that our Management selected and I like the possibilities that each brings to the team. What do you think of our Draft Picks? I'm always hopeful for our pick ups, rookies and free agents. Training camps are just around the corner and the season is inching closer day by day. I've got a couple of dates picked on the calendar that I'm hoping to make it to the game. Any of you planning to make a game or 2 or all?

”He came in to the cafe one day asking me for some $$. I looked at him and asked him "why don't you have a job, you know nothing is given to me for free right? he said "Well, I have a lot of felonies and no one wants to hire me for that, so now I had to turn myself to the streets and get money the only way I know, Stealing and asking for money. I was short staff that day. So I asked him " you want to work? I have a job for you! His eyes opened wide and his smile made my day!!!! He said I'll do anything for some food. So now for almost 2 weeks he been on time for his two hour shift.... helping take trash, washing dishes etc. Once I pay him guess what he does? He buys food from my restaurant (HE DECIDES TO PAY) because it makes him feel good !
He gets a discount!!!!! Do something nice for someone today and don't judge them just because they out there asking for money for we dont know their situation... some deserve another shot. God gave me this blessing so why can't I bless others? 😜 this is what should break the internet, We want change? Well, start by making one 😉”

Hello friends, our Minnesota Vikings have a new GM, Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and a newly named (not yet signed) Head Coach, Kevin O'Connell. In a few days that will be taken care of and the team can get on with the business of getting ready for the 2022 season. I'm hopeful the new changes will help improve the team. I know a lot of factors go into making a winning situation and team. Some luck and good fortune doesn't hurt either. I think we have a good core of players both young and veterans. I admit, I was shocked at the Wilfs clearing house but I was getting tied of the same ole results, too. OK, New Year, New Management, always New Players (not too many) and Hopefully New and Better results in the New Season (in 8 months).
