The Central Virginia Soccer Association (CVSA), founded in 1975, is the premier adult soccer league in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The CVSA is affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation.

The CVSA Summer League is now upon us, and undoubtedly you've seen those classic colored jerseys with a variety of restaurant logos spotted all around the playing fields at your matches. We would like to take a moment to give a sincere thank you to our sponsors who aided in the funding and creation of jerseys for over 1,200 players this summer.

First and foremost, a profound thank you to the Giavos family and their continued sponsorship of the Central Virginia Soccer Association. Not only have they supported CVSA for decades, but they are the owners of some of the most popular restaurants around Richmond, including The Sidewalk Café, Kuba Kuba, The Continental (Westhampton & Manchester), Stella’s, Stella’s Grocery, Little Nickel, and Lafayette Tavern. These iconic spots around town have supported their neighborhoods in the same manner as the Giavos family has supported year in and year out. Please consider checking out one of them the next time you are heading out for a bite to eat or drink!

Thank you also to Gus' Bar and Grill for their continued support and loyalty towards CVSA. This legendary spot at Broad & Boulevard has hosted droves of CVSA players and soccer fans and shared tears of joy and anguish along the way.

Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Shawn and his team at who worked around the clock to produce ~1,500 jerseys for the league. This is no small task and we hope everyone enjoyed the final product!

🚨SAVE THE DATE!🚨

The annual League Appreciation Event will take place on Saturday, May 30th from 2-7 PM at Longdale Recreation Center. A registration link will be emailed to all active CVSA players in the coming weeks. All active players who register for this event in advance will receive a FREE food voucher upon entry. Beverages will be available at no cost for ALL attendees.

We have an awesome list of vendors lined up and the list is still growing. CVSA t-shirts will be available for the first attendees to show up. There will be games and music going on throughout the day. And we are pleased to have back again this year to capture the sights and sounds of the day.

You can expect to see a food truck and a truck on site for all attendees to enjoy.

Our friends from will be there to showcase their gear, like the 2026 FIFA World Cup Adidas Trionda official match balls that will be used in our Copa Bruce & CVSA Cup championship matches.
