It's time to celebrate another amazing graduating senior! We're putting the spotlight on the incredible Cameron Starke from Godwin High School. Cameron has so much to be proud of, including getting into VCU, securing a job, gaining the confidence to perform a senior solo, forming strong bonds with supportive friends, developing as an artist, and gracefully adapting through life's challenges.
Cameron will be heading to VCU Arts this fall, where they'll be majoring in Communication Arts. In ten years, Cameron aspires to be a concept artist for an animation company, hoping to achieve a stable job and then travel!
From their time at AIM, Cameron has developed invaluable qualities like confidence, individuality, perseverance, and adaptability, drawing inspiration from all their teachers and fellow dancers. One of Cameron's favorite memories is the pure excitement of being cast as the Mad Hatter in Ms. Aleece's Jazz dance – it was the first time they truly embodied their own character, and it left a lasting impression. Cameron's favorite thing about AIM is its incredibly supportive and inclusive atmosphere, emphasizing that "AIM isn't just a dance studio, it's a family." We are so incredibly proud of you, Cameron, and can't wait to see the rest of your artistic journey unfold!
