GRC had a freshmen bowler pass away on Saturday in an accident. So they are hosting a No Tap tournament on May 17th at 1:30 pm. All proceeds are going to the family for burial and other costs! Please let your bowlers know about this opportunity to help. This is open for any age group as well. So you adults can come bowl too!

This past week our very own Jayden Fultz signed to bowl with Midway College next year! We’re so proud of her and are looking forward to her future successes!

We’re so proud of Lewis and Hyrum for making it to state! They placed 5th out of the entire state! We’re so excited for her accomplishments and hope to see more from them in the future.

Today was an insanely long but super fun day. Boys and girls individual regionals started out the day. Our amazing 8th grades qualified in 7th place and finished with securing 8th place (an amazing feet for an 8th grader). Then we had our unified team regionals in which we had TWO teams finish in the top 4 and….. one team bringing home the REGIONAL UNIFIED CHAMPIONSHIP Medal!! Congrats to Lewis and Hyrum! I can’t wait to see how well you will do at state!

Our girls did great this year! We placed 4th in qualifying and made it all the way to the semi finals!! We’ve had a great season and I couldn’t be more proud of these girls! Individuals and unifieds are tomorrow! Wish us luck!!

Boys team regionals was today. Our boys did AMAZING! We qualified in FIRST PLACE!! However, we fell short in the second round of the brackets! I hate that the season has ended for this amazing group but I’m excited to see us get even better next season! Great work boys!

A great time was had today at the GRC tournament! Our two boys teams placed 1st and 2nd, our girls team placed 3rd. We had 7 kids placed in the top 5 of each boy/girl division!! Awesome job team!! Regionals here we come!!

Congratulations to our girls team for winning the Golden Eagle Classic in Prestonsburg,KY! These girls are amazing and resilient! The growth they have made from the beginning of the season to now is unreal! Congrats! Keep up the hard work! I can’t wait to see where the rest of the season takes us!

On Dec 20, we had our Annual bowling tournament (The Donnie Philbeck Classic). Turn out was amazing, our bake sale was delicious, and all of the kids had a blast! Congratulations to the winners: Girls Lafayette, Boys North Bullitt, and runner ups: Girls Madison Central, Boys Madison Central! Thank you so much to everyone who came out, helped and supported our team! We appreciate it!

Anyone of my friends, coworkers, family that likes to bake or cook that would love to help Madison Cental Bowling team? We are in need of cookies, brownies, pies, cakes, or anything that can be individually wrapped for Saturday morning by 8 am. If you bake it or make it, I’ll wrap it!

All donations will be accepted, all proceeds will be used for our team, and will be enjoyed by anyone who buys it!

We have a full house at Galaxy Bowling on Saturday for our annual tournament.
