This has been me for the past year. I was faking self-care. I would be at the gym. Putting in the time. But I wasn't really focused. I was just going through the motions. And I saw no progress. So why continue to waste my precious resource of time. I am not. I am bringing back my wellness. My athlete. My health. I am not wasting anymore time. I creating more of this precious resource by living longer and living well. Being present and health becoming part of my core values once again. This will mean boundary setting. It will mean putting me and my family first. This will not please everyone but I will not spend more of this short life on someone else terms. Come with me into the new year. Let's mean it: new year , new you.

She's back. Music motivating. Challenge increasing. It has been a while since I have been on the squat rack. Fear of hurting my knees. So, i went back to basics. Scaled the weight back and focused on form. I am not close to my max weight but am feeling stronger every time. Don't be afraid to start over. Sometimes we have to come apart so that we can rebuild bigger and better. No more mindless weight machines for me. I am going into this new year making small changes to get my muscle back. In the moment. Locked in on form. Building a better me, once and for all. It's good to be back.
