Today, Sorors had the opportunity to meet with U.S. Senator Mark Warner and advocate on issues important to our communities and aligned with the priorities of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

It is with heavy hearts that the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Nu Xi Zeta chapter announces the passing of our beloved Triumphant Soror Marlysha Myrthil Liddell, her beloved husband, Frater Paul Liddell, and daughter, Leilani Liddell.

Since joining Zeta through Nu Xi Zeta in Spring 2018, Triumphant Soror Liddell served our chapter in several capacities and made a lasting impact through her service, sisterhood, and dedication. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy remains woven into the fabric of Nu Xi Zeta. The love she shared and the mark she left on our sisterhood will continue to live on.

We extend our deepest condolences and hold her family, loved ones, and all who knew and loved them close in our hearts during this difficult time.

May they rest in eternal peace. 💙🤍

Each year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated solemnly pauses to honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders who gave everything, and the resilience of survivors who continue to bear the weight of that day. We remember not only the tragedy, but the unity, strength, and humanity that emerged in its wake.
Our hearts remain with the families, friends, and communities forever changed by the events of September 11th. Their pain is enduring, and so is our commitment to remembrance.
