TPT HOT AS EVER.

We got two main heats in before Mother Nature decided she wanted the last Throat Punch.

Y’all brought the thunder. She brought the lightning. ⚡️

Thanks for hanging with us through the timing issues, and HUGE thanks to Wyatt and Evan at Carytown Bicycle Company for the tent space and ultimately fixing our network problem. Apparently they fix bikes and Wi-Fi. Who knew.

Hot laps. Good heckling. Fast people doing dumb things on bikes. Solid Thursday.

THROAT PUNCH THURSDAY WEATHER UPDATE

These are the women responsible for Throat Punch Thursday.

So obviously you should trust their judgment.

We have consulted the radar, several weather apps, the National Weather Service, a damp finger held into the breeze, and whatever dark forces originally convinced us that racing bikes on Thursday nights was a good idea.

TPT IS A GO. 🚴‍♀️💀

Yes, there’s weather lurking around RVA this evening. Yes, we’re tracking it. Yes, Mother Nature appears to have entered the chat.

For now, WE RACE.

We’ll keep watching conditions as registration rolls on. Once registration closes, registered racers will get an email with the final update if anything needs to change.

Until then: hydrate, prepare to sweat through your soul, keep an eye on the sky, and make whatever questionable life choices brought you to Throat Punch Thursday in the first place.
