TROT is fully owned and operated by elite athlete and coach, Cal Neff, to bring world-class trail events to Texas. Events include the fastest 100mi and 50mi trail races at Brazos Bend (April and December events), the hottest race in Texas at Habanero Hundred, the beautiful Wildflower trail run in Bastrop, a hidden Texas gem with Mission Tejas, our timed challenge Jackalope Jam, the party at Night Moves, the triple challenge at the San Felipe Shootout, Big Tex Backyard Ultra, Road Kill XC, and many more unique themed and format races. TROT aims to get people outside and moving, showcasing Texas's beautiful parks and ranches with family-friendly events for all abilities and ambitions. “Buckle on the Bayou” and earn a Western States 100 qualifier 🐊

The BB100 2026 race has officially been selected as a qualifying race for the 2028 Western States 100.

Complete the 100-mile race within 32 hours to earn your Western States lottery qualification—no additional submission required.

Brazos Bend sent 119 runners to the qualifier list in 2024 and another 133 in 2025. Will you add your name in 2026?

The Western States qualifying period runs from November 9, 2026, through November 7, 2027, with the lottery held December 4, 2027.

We will also be live streaming the 2027 lottery draw on race day, we’ve had quite a few runners over the years find out they were selected from previous BB100 qualifiers while on the course!

Trade the scorching Texas summer heat for a cooler night on the trails. Join TROT for the next adventure with Night Moves trail race at Stephen F Austin State Park, just west of Houston.

This event offers wide gravel and dirt trails with quick elevation changes - making it an excellent course for both beginners and advanced runners.

🏃🏻‍♀️ - MARATHON - HALF MARATHON - 10K - 5K - FREE KID’S RACE

RACE ESSENTIALS -

GEAR: All runners must carry a personal light source (headlamp/flashlight) and a hydration device.

CUPLESS COURSE: You must bring your own bottle or flask for the aid stations.

SUPPORT: The main aid station, drop bag zone and spectator lawn are located at the group dining hall. All races have a generous 2:00 AM cutoff time.

ATMOSPHERE: Sunset is at 7:00 PM. Costumes and extra lights are highly encouraged to add to the nighttime environment. DJ Skai Official will be back with an encore from Habanero Hundred, rocking to DJ booth all evening long!
