As Richmond has evolved so has Agee's, growing to our current three stores and offering the largest range of bikes in the region. The original Cary Street store changed locations several times through the years. The current 3116 West Cary St. building was originally a Western Auto. In the mid-seventies, an exciting time for cycling in Richmond, Agee's built a second location on Midlothian Turnpike

('74) followed rapidly by a third on West Broad Street ('76). Both locations were pretty far out from the city at the time. The shops were surrounded by corn fields in the seventies but 30 years later the West Broad store isn't even really in the west end anymore. After 100 years in business Agee's is now amongst the oldest bike shops in the nation. Five generations of the Agee family have worked in the stores with four of those generations still active today...Agee's is a family run store with a focus of serving the families of Richmond with all their cycling needs! Agee's Bicycles has served the Richmond community longer than any other bicycle shop, first opening our doors in 1910. The Agee family has set a standard for customer service that has led to Agee's being voted the "Best Bicycle Shop in Richmond" on numerous occasions and named to the national Top 100 Bicycle dealer list many times. -Complete assembly by our professional assembly team.
-A final check is performed just before you take your new bike home by a member of our highly trained and experienced Service Staff.
-Agee's provides a free 30-day checkup with your bicycle that we give you up to 60 days to use. This check provides us with a chance to check you bike after you have had the chance to break it in a little and make any changes to your riding position that you would like.
-We also are glad to offer you discounted service rates should your bike need to be repaired in the future.
-Our Low Price Guarantee- If you find the same bike in stock in the state of VA for less we will reimburse you the difference plus 10% of the difference for 30 days after your purchase.
