Enjoyed the sunshine, trees, and water last Saturday at Larus Park ☀️ Took my watercolors along and did one of my favorite beginner friendly practices that always slows me down and helps me soak in the moment. All you do is just look at the landscape, notice the individual colors, and try to create them on the page. Simple, no stress, no masterpiece in mind, simply noticing.

Michael Summers is a wildlife rehabilitator in Virginia and will be joining as our expert in January. Got my butt off the couch on this snowy day off in Richmond to visit Pine Camp! This is such a lovely city park and community center just a few min from home. The trail was awesome with beech trees and big oaks, and a little stream. Got the inside tour from Myron who told me all about the pottery, dance, theater, and art classes they do there.
