Off to College! What an exciting scary time! Wow, how did they get so old so quickly? We have done our best to equip them to make good decisions. Now we are not going to be with them when they fall. Dave & I designed a

In case you are not able to attend, here are some items you may want to consider purchasing.
A Dorm/Apartment kit. It has a personal alarm and a window/door alarm. Ace Hardware usually has a good selection.
We have found our friends and clients prefer the door wedge. It’s just easier and more convenient. We all have the muscle memory of using a door wedge somewhere in our lives. Bad guys hate noise and light! When you use it with an apartment/dorm room and the alarm goes off, they will leave! Your neighbors will come to check it out and tell you to cut it off because it is LOUD!
A personal alarm is something you can wear around your neck. It is convenient and familiar. You can wear it to class, running, and dates! Lol We all have worn lanyards, so it should be comfortable. It is easy to reach and activate. As long as people are nearby, again a suspicious person will leave and pick another target because people will respond when you push the alarm!
Safely Practice with any device you decide to use because when a situation arises you need your muscle memory to remember to use it!
