Hope everyone had a good Juneteenth!! I was selected into the WeCOACH Academy class #53, on their 21st anniversary! I was sponsored by an organization called Legends of the Ball. I had the pleaser of seeing women that I have looked up to be awarded as Lifetime Achievement Recipients. There were 3 on stage but what was most aspiring to me was to see Coach Bev. Kearney, Track & Field, the 1st Black Women Head Coach at the University of Texas and a recording from Coach C. Vivian Stringer, Womens Basketball, the first Coach to take 3 different teams to the Final Four!
This has been an amazing 3 day Academy. I have learned so much and am inspired from meeting so many Women College Coaches in different sports. From hearing testimonies from participants that helped me to not feel alone, to learning from guest speakers and board members that have poured into our cups and reminded us that this game needs Women Coaches in ALL SPORTS!

It’s definitely been a journey coaching with Randolph Macon this year. We have overcome so much as a team. From multiple season ending injuries to each player stepping up in roles they didn’t have at the start of the season. Through it all, this team continued with our heads high and defeated a nationally ranked team, went 15-5 to start the season, finished 3rd in the ODAC, and finished 5th in Region 6. We were able to produce the ODAC Rookie of the year in Freshman guard Samatha Smith! 1st Team-All Conference in sophomore post player Jane Elkins!, and second team all conference in junior post player Juliana Park!. Super proud to have coached them this season. I wish nothing but the best for this team going forward and I am excited for what’s next for me in coaching this game that I love.

Senior night and last regular season game was so 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The energy was definitely unmatched. came out strong and showed who is #1 going into playoffs. I’ll always stand on DEFENSE WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS. So proud of these ladies. Congratulations finishing #1. Now let’s get this Ring!!
