Perfect Storm Fastpitch Softball

What a day it was…. The Storm Girls went 4-1 finishing in 2nd Place in the USSSA Summer Sizzler. The girls were injured, exhausted and fought till the end. We are so proud of these girls for getting good reps before the World Series at Space Coast and Nationals in Myrtle Beach.

A big congratulations to our MVP Dixie for amazing pitching for almost 4 games!!! We also celebrated 10 wins in a row against some of the best teams in SE Georgia!!!

Cheers to our Perfect Storm Family!!! Back to work next week to prep for the World Series!!

Perfect Storm went to Statesboro for the USSSA Girl Power tournament and came home champions. They went 5-0 playing against great competition and took care of business. We are so proud of these girls for fighting every single inning and overcoming challenges to win the day. From big hits, huge defensive plays, strong pitching and everything in-between, it was an amazing team effort. Every single girl contributed offensively and defensively. They continue to develop and it’s amazing to be a part of this journey with these awesome girls.

A big shout out to Sophia for being our tournament MVP with strong pitching and having one of our top batting averages for the day. So proud of that young lady for leading the team.

It was an amazing day and we’re back to work on Tuesday. Cheers of these girls and our Perfect Storm family.

The Storm Girls are off to a great start going 2-0 so far. Congratulations to Dixie for pitching another no hitter with 7 strikeouts in 3 innings…That’s two in a row. Awesome Job!!

We are excited to announce that Avrey Fisher has officially joined the Perfect Storm Family. Avrey is a Richmond Hill Native and has had an amazing softball career. Most recently, she was a stand out player at Albany State University for her on field performance and leadership within the program. She also recently graduated Summa Cum Laude.

We are grateful to have her insight to share with the girls to strengthen our mental game and help balance their student athlete careers. We are pumped to add more coaching depth to the Perfect Storm program and have someone who has recent experience with the recruiting process, playing at an elite level and successfully balancing athletics with academics.

Coach Avrey we are so thrilled to have you with us and can’t wait for you to get started!! Welcome to the Perfect Storm Family!!!

We went to Baxley for the “Hit One for Mom”. USSSA tournament. Everyone saw the weather coming in and we were able to get 1 game in before the downpour. We went 1-0 on the day and the girls played great.

A big shout out to Dixie for pitching a no hitter with 7 strikeouts in 3 innings to take our MVP of the tournament. Awesome job young lady!!!

We will be back at it next week in Statesboro after a good week of practice.

It was our first year participating in the GOAT and it did not disappoint. The 14u big dawgs were out and the competition was awesome. Our girls had an up and down weekend. Big wins, tough losses and a lot of growing to do after a 2-3 showing. So proud of these girls as we push through the frustration and mental lapses. We’re continuing to grow as we seek out tough competition. The GOAT was a blast!!

A big shout out to Sophia being our MVP of the first day with big hits, including a bomb, and clutch pitching.

Another shout out to Rebecca for being our MVP of the tournament batting .875 for the weekend!!
