The girls had another long but great day today 💪. We played a great group of girls from Knoxville in the championship.
SWVA Elite 12U's Late Push Leads To Victory Over TN Queens 2032 12U

SWVA Elite 12U defeated TN Queens 2032 12U 6-5 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at five in the bottom of the third when an error scored one run.
Despite falling down by four runs in the second inning, TN Queens 2032 12U tried to fight back. TN Queens 2032 12U closed the gap by scoring on a single, a double, a single, and a single.
TN Queens 2032 12U got on the board in the first inning after Josie D singled, scoring one run.
SWVA Elite 12U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a dropped third strike that drove in three.
TN Queens 2032 12U tied the game in the top of the third thanks to a single by Zoe L, a double by Emery E, a single by Josie D, and a single by Riley E.
Sadie C earned the win for SWVA Elite 12U. The righty surrendered five hits and five runs (three earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Rhealee L took the loss for TN Queens 2032 12U. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs (three earned) on two hits, striking out five and walking six.
Macie S went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Macie S and Maci H each collected one hit for SWVA Elite 12U. SWVA Elite 12U had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game.
Josie D provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led TN Queens 2032 12U with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-2 on the day.
