Fish were hungry everywhere we went. First time on the boat in over 3 months, felt great to get back out and we ended up having a solid trip. We ended with 21 Speckled Trout and a Striper. All caught on artificial, mostly on a Paul Brown XL in 3-5' depths. The highlight was the 26.5" & 5.14 lb trout. It inhaled a green Paul Brown XL. All fish were safely released.

We played with some Sand Tigers in Hatteras 🦈 We caught 4 and lost at least that many. All swam away strong.

You know she's a keeper when she says, "let's go fishing on your birthday because I already know that's what you want to do." 😂 She knows me well. We waited for it to warm up and made it out for a few hours in the afternoon.

Water temps were in the mid 40's. We fished low and slow pretty much dragging bottom with a Slick Jr and Lil John. We ended with 5 trout and a small red. All fish were released.

Shout out to JD Peele over at Down East Gaffs. He did an amazing job with this bamboo net and it didn't take long at all to get. Can't wait to get some slime on it.

Struggle bus yesterday. We couldn't buy a bite. We only caught a few fish, at least they were all over 20". Biggest weighed in at 3.68 and 23". There was no consistency, they were caught in 12', 8' and 4' depths. Water temps ranged from lower to upper 50's. Tight lines 🤙 🎣

It was a grind at all of the spots we tried today with Capt Jamie Grady. We couldn't find a consistent bite anywhere, but kept looking and were able to put several solid fish over the rails. It turned out to be a quality over quantity type of day.

We ended with 15 Speckled Trout, several between 20-24". All were caught in 2-5' depths and water temp was around 60°. Best baits were Paul Brown Fat Boy in pink and Paul Brown soft dine XL in green. All fish were safely released.

Good times with good friends. Weird bite today, but we moved around and ended up putting a decent day together. We ended with around 40 trout, 2 Stripers, 1 Redfish, 1 Flounder and a Largemouth Bass. We used a variety of baits, both soft plastics on bottom and Paul Brown soft dine XL in a couple different colors. Water temp was mid 50's and fish were caught in a variety of depths from 3 - 18'. All fish were released.

Solo trip this morning. Couldn't find a steady bite in one spot, but picked at them here and there for a couple hours. All decent size at least. Ended with 9 Speckled Trout, 1 small Redfish and a Bluefish. Bait of choice was a green Paul Brown soft dine xl. Fish were all caught in 2-5' depths with 60° water temp. Trout were all 17 - 22". All fish were released.

Quick trip after work was a success. Made it out for a couple hours with Laura Murillo, Nick Manners and Ashley Roberts. Wind was whipping, but we made the best of it. We caught 15 Speckled Trout between 17 - 22". Best baits were Lil John and Paul Brown.

Good day on the water with Rich Marquard Jr.
I haven't been out in over a month, but we knocked the rust off in a big way today. We caught over 70 fish, including over 60 Speckled Trout and around 10 Redfish. About half of the Trout were 17-22", with some smaller ones mixed in. The reds ranged from 12-23". Water temp was 60-62° and and all fish were caught in 2-7' depths. We used Paul Brown XL, Slick, Zman Big Ballerz, and STF custom baits. Tight lines 🤙🎣
