If you’ve been following our page this year, you may have seen some posts about Floppsy. A horse Penny bought and rescued in January. 💜

Sadly, today she was laid to rest at the ranch.

This sweet old girl did her best to come back from the shape she was found in, but her body just couldn’t handle. The last 9 months of her life were full of love, treats, and kisses. And we can live with that. Knowing she had some peace before her time was done.

She was ready, and passed quickly with our vet’s assistance. I have no doubts she is running free and breathing easily now!

Stable Studies (homeschool class) is designed for curious kids interested in the world of horses!

Stable Studies blends horsemanship education with hands-on experiences and engaging activities that build confidence, responsibility, knowledge and a love for animals.

Students will learn the basics of horse care, specific horse related topics, safety, grooming, and communication, all while enjoying interactive lessons and take home crafts and learning materials sent home! (Riding is not included unless otherwise stated. Why? Because there is SO much to learn about horses outside of riding.)

✨$30 per child per event ✨ (why $30? Because we provide educational materials, crafts, and sometimes experiments)

Dates:

October 16th at 10:00am - Groundwork & Safety

November 6th at 10:00am — Horse First Aid & Care

December - NO Stable Studies

January TBD— Hooves

February TBD — Tack & Tools

March TBD — Basic Riding ($45 not $30)

April TBD — Nutrition & Vet Care

May TBD — Horse Ownership

Whether your child is brand new to horses or already dreaming of life in the barn, this program offers a supportive and fun environment to learn, grow, and connect. Designed for ages 6 and up!

✨We’ve made a change to our schedule ✨

We have canceled our Stables Studies (homeschool class) on September 18th and switched to an additional PonyTales!

Why did we do this? We have a huge number of followers that LOVE PonyTales and are hoping for more events this year, and low sign ups for our homeschool class. If you’re considering our homeschool class, please sign up as soon as you can! That helps us plan ahead of time because these classes come with a lot of learning material. See you in October for that!

PonyTales is one of our favorite programs at Rockin M! It’s an opportunity for kiddos to be introduced to the world of horses in a fun, safe way!

- Story
- Craft
- Horse Ride

$15 per child participating

Hello beeeerrrrrr months!

Though is wasn’t very berrr today 😂 we still have some high temps in NC for a bit. But boy I can’t wait for the cooler weather!

As the temperatures cool and the days shorten, lesson times will adjust to earlier in the day. 🍁

I pray the last 4 months of the year hold blessings, peace, and clarity for us all. Many blessings Rockin M Family!
