🚴 Can strength training improve cycling performance after 60?
Jim says yes.
At age 65, Jim set a goal while preparing for Ironman Tri-Cities:
🎯 Ride 56 miles at 20 mph
A goal like that takes more than determination.
It takes strength.
One of the biggest things Jim learned was that cycling alone wasn't enough.
💪 Stronger core
💪 Stronger legs
💪 Stronger upper body
💪 Better balance throughout his body
After adding personal training sessions at Results Based Coaching, he achieved a huge PR on the 75-mile Inland Empire Ride and tackled Webber Canyon without losing power.
His favorite takeaway?
"The strength was there."
That's what personal training should do.
Not just make you stronger in the gym.
But help you perform better in the activities you love outside of it.
🌎 Ride farther.
🥾 Explore longer.
💪 Stay stronger.
🚴 Keep doing what you love.
