We kicked off summer in island style with our Luau-themed scramble, complete with tropical vibes, great golf, and even better company. From colorful shirts and leis to sunset views and friendly competition, it was the perfect way to start another unforgettable season at the club.

What a fantastic first week of Summer Camp! ☀️🌊

This week was all about getting to know one another, building friendships, and making ourselves at home for the summer. Campers enjoyed plenty of time at the lake, sweet treats from the Quarterdeck, rounds of Just Dance on the Nintendo Switch, puzzles, and card games.

We also kicked off several special summer projects! Campers created a "Summer Popsicle" goal project, sharing what they hope to accomplish and experience this season. Together, we planted wildflowers in our camp planter and talked about the things we'd like to help grow within ourselves and our camp community this year.

To capture these memories, we created a treasure chest time capsule and wrote notes to our future selves that we'll open on the last day of camp. Campers also painted colorful rocks that will be displayed at the Pavilion for everyone to enjoy.

We wrapped up an incredible week with a fun cereal bar celebration! We can't wait to see what adventures, friendships, and memories the rest of the summer has in store. 💙🌻⛵

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2026 Men’s Columbo Cup!

It was a great day for golf filled with some great scores, shots and camaraderie.

Taking home the win was the tandem of Mike Sanders and Jamie Kneen! The duo had a great Best Ball 9-hole score of 6-under, 30, before keeping it together in the Alt-Shot with an even par, 36. Great playing!

Tying for second place and just one stroke back of first were the teams of Jeff O’Brien/Jeff Harris alongside Vince Behnke/Mike Sharp.

We’re excited to be seeing all of the members diving into the summer season here at GLCC!

Give your kids the chance to grow, learn, and build confidence on the water. Youth sailing offers incredible opportunities for teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and personal development—all while fostering a love for nature and a true sense of accomplishment.

Ready to learn yourself? Adult sailing lessons are also available this summer! Enjoy semi-private or private instruction tailored to your interests. Beginner classes start with basic boat handling and terminology on land, followed by hands-on experience out on the water.

For over 25 years, Gull Lake Yacht Club has created a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable place to learn sailing—no experience needed. Just bring a life jacket and a smile!

Starting in June, the Gull Lake Country Club membership invites you to enroll your children in our Youth Sailing Program.

Youth Sailing: Introductory classes every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 1:00-4:00 pm

Adult Sailing: Every Tuesday 6:00-9:00 pm

May recap at GLCC!

-Congratulations to the team of John Cooper, Bert Cooper, Matthew Bryant, Johnny Bryant on their first place win at our annual Memorial Day shotgun 🏌️
-The Kentucky Derby Party was a success! Members enjoyed bourbon tasting, amazing food and great company 🐎
-The annual Racquets opener had a great turnout- we loved getting to see our members returning to the courts 🎾
-Ladies Operation 36 Clinic has been a huge hit with our Assistant Pro, Kelsey ⛳️
-Lqkeside Eats is off to a great start! We’ve gotten great feedback on the menu and can’t wait to continue to serve you all at the beach ☀️
-The GLYC had two fantastic regattas- The annual Tulip Tune-Up & the Western Hemisphere Regatta ⛵️
