One of our beliefs at WildCountry Packing is that we should leave every place we live, visit or go, better than we found it. So, every year, we pick a few projects at our Basecamp that we want to accomplish for that season. One of those will actually be a multi-year job due to cost but we got it started this year... And, another one was "minor" to us, but big to the organism it benefitted. See the comments with the pictures for two of the projects we got done this last weekend!
Mitigation is more than just paying a big bunch of $ to the government... It's making decisions that actually IMPROVE the situation...
