💙⚽️🏅 Special Olympics Washington State Games – Individual Skills Soccer 2026 🏅⚽️💙
A week late posting for Individual Skills, but this season—and State Games—deserve a little recognition before we officially turn the page to summer.
The weather could not have been more perfect—sunshine, no rain, no crazy wind, and a beautiful day to celebrate our athletes and everything they have worked so hard for this season.
Congratulations to our Tri-Cities Thunder Individual Skills soccer athletes who represented Eastern Region at State:
🥇 Kaiden – Gold Medal
🥈 Lucas – Silver Medal
🏅 Kimber – 4th Place
Every athlete showed determination, courage, and sportsmanship throughout the competition, and we couldn’t be more proud.
This State Games appearance was the perfect way to cap off an incredible season for Tri-Cities Thunder. At East Regionals, our athletes competed against 12 teams across 28 divisions, and our team brought home an impressive collection of medals (10 to be exact!).
Watching our athletes step onto the field, challenge themselves, build confidence, and represent our community with pride is what makes this experience so rewarding year after year.
A huge thank you to the coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters who help make these opportunities possible. Your encouragement and dedication help our athletes shine both on and off the field.
