Come prepare for the ILHA Championship by using the large arena with help from flaggers to help improve your horse's focus and connection to you and get judge's tips on improvement. Don't want to compete? No problem, you can still come improve your liberty at larger distances. We will also discuss this year's club focus and goals during our club meeting.

WOW what a fun 4-day Liberty and Ridden Posture Focused Clinic with Mirka Crew - The Sky Is NOT The Limit!

We covered so much in the 4 days! Liberty - At the shoulder work, at distances, sizes of liberty circles, up and downward transitions, the stop cue, the ground tie, sideways, leg yields, front end yields, counter bends, precision with cones in the round pen as well as in the large arena with the support of flaggers who were not needed much as the participants had amazing connections and clarity with their horses. This clinic was a great preparation for this year's International Liberty Horse Association's Liberty Festival / liberty Championship.

During the PFT ridden part of the clinic our biggest focus was on establishing great impulsion - the willingness of the horse to go any direction at any time, including up and downward crispy transitions, lateral maneuvers of sideways, leg yields and coutner bends and lengthening and shortening the topline. We also included some super fun competitive team games which put the impulsion to a great test!

Everyone did such a fantastic job and the progress was obvious! I look forward to our next one!

Immersed in Liberty SELHC 2023 Challenge

INSPIRATION + IMMERSION = SUCCESS

- Starts March 1st, 2023 and Ends October 31st, 2023
- Log in your liberty focused hours and submit them by the end of each month including lessons, clinics, training, showing (virtually and in person) and practice sessions with your horse which are related to the discipline of liberty (including bridleless training).
- 4 Divisions - Pro, Non-Pro, Senior, Youth
- Participants of this challenge must be current International Liberty Horse Association (ILHA) members and current Southeast Liberty Horse Club ILHA (SELHC) members.
- One award per each division to the SELHC member with the most logged liberty training related hours - Molly's Custom Silver Buckle
- Awards will be mailed out by December 31st, 2023
