Just a reminder we are having equipment check-in in the wrestling room at 6pm tuesday evening. pizza party in elementary cafeteria to follow. if anyone is missing their helmet there was one that was left on the field at richardton. we have it. see you tuesday night!

Chance of light rain, cooler temps but nice football weather for our last game! Make sure to dress for today's game. It wouldn't hurt to bring extra clothes and wear long sleeve shirts under pads. Dry clothes for after the game.

The game in Richardton will be just against Richardton. We are splitting 5/6 grade. I believe 6th grade will play first, with no kickoffs or punts, starting from 40 yd line. 6th grade is scheduled to play the first three quarters and 5th grade the final quarter with the possibility of adding more quarters as needed to get everyone an opportunity to play enough.

Meet at new Salem high school for new Salem kids at 9:30, bus leaves at 9:45. We will stop in Glen Ullin for Glen Ullin kids.

Double check everyone has all their gear.

After the 6th grade is done I would appreciate it if they would stay and watch their 5th grade team mates and cheer them on.

When we are all done there will be a checkout sheet again. Either you or your child can sign it so we know where everyone is at.

There is one change for jersey numbers. Branson Gilbert (5th grade) was #42 and is now #14.

Game time is 11:30 CT. See you in Richardton!

Last practice Thursday! We'll be at the football field for the final practice.

We are taking the activity bus so everyone can fit and pads can go underneath the bus. Everyone should meet at the high school at 9:30 Saturday. Bus leaves at 9:45. We will stop in Glen Ullin to pick up our Holsteins at the Glen Ullin high school. Game time is 11:30 in Richardton. More details on the game will come out later this week.

On Tuesday I would like everyone to show up at 6pm in the wrestling room for equipment checkout. After checkout we will head to the elementary cafeteria for a pizza party!

Please take your pads out of your pants if they are removable and wash pants and jersey on gentle cycle in cold water. If the pads in the pants are not removable they are ok to be washed with the pants. Hang to dry. Wipe out helmet and chin strap. If you borrowed cleets, please return them for next year's players.

If you can't make it Tuesday, get ahold of me (220-6507) and we can get the pads from you.

Thursday final practice at high school. Saturday game in Richardton. Next Tuesday (10/02) pizza party and gear check in.

Plans for tomorrow night are to have all players meet south of field by bathrooms at start of second quarter. We will find a place to warm up over there.

With a couple minutes before half we'll load all players into the trailer and at half they will come out onto the field like varsity does for their games.

I would like parents to form the lines onto the field to cheer kids on/high five them on their way onto the field like the cheerleaders and students do for varsity.

It appears like Richardton will have enough kids for both a 5th and 6th grade team. We will run both games simultaneously for the full 15 minute halftime like we have done at Jamborees.

We will play from the 30 yard line to the end zone. 5th grade on North side of field and 6th grade on South side.

Please double check everyone has all their equipment. It is also going to be chilly so make sure they dress for the weather.
