As many of you may have heard, Garrett Foster, black belt and member of the Dragon School family, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 25th.

Mr. Foster embodied everything the Dragon School stood for - dignity, honor, strength, wisdom, honesty, and compassion - and we will miss him dearly. He was a consummate, passionate martial artist. His dedication to martial arts inspired everyone he met to work harder, to be better, and to find joy in our training. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, some of whom were also students of the Dragon School.

For any members of our martial arts community that knew Mr. Foster, and want to say goodbye, his viewing will be held on Monday, June 3rd from 4pm-8 pm at Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano. It will be come and go and all are welcome to attend.

On Saturday, November 5th, Dragon School students Lucio Vargas, Jake Lichliter, and James Smith participated in the AKATO Karate Championships! It was the first tournament for all of them and they all did very well!
