🎯 🇬🇧 OLIVER vs. NICHOLAS MOORE 🇬🇧 🎯

Nicholas Moore came prepared today. He purposely left his captain's jersey in the vehicle so Oliver couldn't make fun of him for being captain of a dart team. Smart move.

Unfortunately, Nicholas still brought Nicholas. 😂

He walks through the door and immediately says: “I may as well make my donation.”

Oliver: “Excellent attitude, mate. Most victims require a few darts before accepting the inevitable.” 😂

Nicholas is wearing a dark shirt reading: “AUTO SAVVY — GET BRANDED.”

Then he finally sees the Blade Champions Choice training board.

His immediate reaction:
“Oh my... that’s small.”
Oliver: “Careful, mate. Kristin’s heard that line before — just usually when you’re talking about your checkout percentage.” 😂 💀 🇬🇧 😂 Welcome to Oliver, Nicholas!

FIRST NUMBER: 128 🎯
First dart: 13. Nicholas says it “got away from him.”

Oliver: “Got away from you? It's a dart, mate, not an escaped bloody Labrador.” 😂
Second dart: SINGLE BULL — 25.
GAME OVER.

Oliver: “Wonderful. You found the bull when it was completely bloody useless.” 🤣

SECOND NUMBER: 97 🎯
First dart: 3.

Oliver: “Oh, brilliant. We're getting worse.”
Second dart: 18.
GAME OVER.

Nicholas came in with two checkout numbers — 128 and 97 — and managed:
13 → 25
then...
3 → 18.

Oliver: “Auto Savvy Get Branded?” “Mate, after those darts I'd recommend getting rebranded.” 😂 😂 😂

And remember... This man CAPTAINS a dart team. He thought leaving the jersey in the vehicle would keep that information safe.

Nicholas...
WE ALREADY KNOW. 😭

Oliver: “Hiding the captain's shirt doesn't hide the captain's darts.” 💀 🎯

All roasting aside, Nicholas walked through the door already knowing where his $20 was going. Straight to USA Darts Academy to support youth darts in America. 🇺🇸 🎯

For that, Nicholas, we genuinely thank you.

Oliver does too. 🇬🇧 “Cheers for the donation, Captain. Next time, bring the bloody jersey. Your darts have already embarrassed it.” 😂 🎯

🎯 🇬🇧 OLIVER vs. SCOTT BORDEN: THE TRIPLE ONE 🇬🇧 🎯

Well, Scott Borden heard Oliver was giving TWO numbers for $20 and apparently took that personally. Scott arrived dressed for battle.

Signature cowboy boots.
Blue jeans.
Blue Bonnie & Clyde darts jersey.
Two guns on the front.
“AKA SCOTT” on the back.

Oliver looked him over: “Two guns on your shirt and three darts in your hand. Surely one of the bloody things can hit its target.” 😂😂😂

FIRST NUMBER: 132
First dart: 20.
Second dart: 20.
Game over. Third dart didn't matter, but Scott threw another 20 anyway. 20. 20. 20.

Oliver:
“Lovely grouping, cowboy. Unfortunately, we're playing a checkout, not collecting bloody twenties.” 🤣

Then came Scott's second chance.

SECOND NUMBER: 117
Surely our multiple-time Dream Out Champion would make something happen.
First dart: 1

Oliver: “Ah. There's the Scott I've heard about.”

Second dart: 1, Third dart: 1

Oliver: “Again?!” Oliver went silent. The entire shop went silent. Somewhere, the 20-segment was wondering what the hell it had done wrong.

Oliver finally responded: “Bloody hell, Borden. You just threw THREE ONES.”

“You've got Bonnie & Clyde on your shirt carrying two guns, and somehow you're the only bastard in the building who couldn't hit anything.” 😂😂😂

From 20-20-20 to 1-1-1. That's not a scoring adjustment. That's a complete system failure.

And let's appreciate the mathematics here. Scott threw six darts. The first three totaled 60. The next three totaled THREE.

Oliver: “I've seen stock markets crash more gracefully than that.” 🤣 🇬🇧

The cowboy boots stayed on. The guns stayed holstered. And “AKA SCOTT” walked away without Oliver's $200 gift card.

But Scott once again put his own money toward USA Darts Academy and youth darts in America — something he continues to do over and over again.

For that, we genuinely appreciate you, Scott. 🇺🇸🎯

Oliver appreciates you too. For completely different reasons. 🇬🇧 “Come back anytime, Borden. Anyone capable of throwing 20-20-20 followed by 1-1-1 is precisely the kind of entertainment this establishment needs.” 😂 🎯

$20 = TWO Oliver Dream Out numbers
100% goes to USA Darts Academy

🎯 You receive TWO different randomly generated numbers
🎯 All other Oliver rules still apply
🎯 You can only win ONCE per $20 attempt

And who can everyone thank for this sudden burst of generosity?
Multiple-time Dream Out Champion Scott Borden. 😂

Oliver reluctantly agreed:
“Two numbers for twenty bucks? Fine. Twice the opportunity for you lot to c**k it up.” 🇬🇧

$20 gets you TWO shots at the $200 Black Dog Darts & Billiards Gift Card + Drinks Saloon 5-Punch Tournament Entry Card.

🎯 🇬🇧 OLIVER’S NEXT VICTIM: BRAD LINAM 🇬🇧 🎯

Brad Linam wandered into Black Dog looking like he couldn't decide whether he was headed to Tai Chi class, a NASCAR race, the beach, or bed. 😂 Black T-shirt. Black racing hat despite having absolutely f@ck-all to do with racing. Black shorts thin enough that Oliver requested confirmation they weren't actually boxer shorts. And open-toed sandals.

Oliver took one look:
“Bloody hell, mate. Did you get dressed during a fire drill?” 😂😂😂

Brad is a Classic player out of Drinks Saloon and plays for the legendary Neanderdarts alongside Timmy M, Angel, John Clark, Bruse, Brandon, and a collection of people who actually know how to throw darts.

Oliver:
“So you're telling me you're surrounded by good players and THIS is what you've learned?” 😭

Brad's number: 🎯 124

Now we're talking. A proper Oliver checkout. First dart: 20. Not ideal, but we're still alive. That leaves 104. Brad decides he's going T18. Oliver approves. T18 leaves 50.

One option from there. Brad throws... 1 (ONE)!! 🤣🤣🤣

Oliver: “TREBLE 18 IS BETWEEN THE BLOODY 4 AND THE BLOODY 1, BRAD!” “You weren't close. You selected the punishment.” 😂

That's exactly why the dartboard is numbered the way it is. Aim at 18 and miss in one direction? 4. Miss the other? 1. Brad chose Door Number One. Literally.

Oliver: “Some carpenter supposedly designed this board over a century ago specifically to punish inaccurate darts, and Brad just volunteered for the bloody demonstration.” 😭 🇬🇧

And Brad works in freight movement! This man professionally gets things from Point A to Point B. Unless Point B is T18. Then apparently your shipment gets rerouted to the 1. 📦😂
“Your dart has experienced an unexpected routing exception.”

“Current location: SINGLE 1.” “Estimated delivery to T18: UNKNOWN.” 🤣

Maybe Brad should stick to sand volleyball. At least when you miss by that much, someone else can hit the bloody thing. And somewhere at Drinks Saloon, the rest of the Neanderdarts are going: “Please don't mention our team.” Too late.

Timmy, you're the youth player on this team... Apparently it's time for YOU to start teaching the adults. 😂🎯

All kidding aside, Brad stepped up, took on Oliver, and put $20 toward USA Darts Academy. That's what matters. Thank you, Brad, for supporting Timmy and youth darts in America. 🇺🇸 🎯

Oliver appreciates the donation. The darts? Not so much.

🇬🇧 “Next time, mate, wear actual trousers and shoes, and perhaps your darts will have the decency to stay in the correct postcode.” 😂🎯

$20 per attempt
100% goes to USA Darts Academy and supports youth darts in America.

🎯🇬🇧 OLIVER MEETS SCOTT BORDEN 🇬🇧🎯

And now we arrive at a name Oliver is going to become VERY familiar with... Scott Borden. 😂

Scott stepped up wearing a black collared shirt with bright green skulls on the chest.

Oliver took one look: “Skulls? Brilliant. At least you've dressed appropriately for the death of your checkout.” 😭😂

Scott's number: 86. A perfectly reasonable checkout.

Oliver suggested:
T18 → D16.

Scott apparently had his own bloody plan.
First dart: 18.

Oliver:
“Right number, wrong bloody floor.”

Second dart: 16.

GAME OVER.

18 → 16.

Scott managed to hit both numbers from Oliver's suggested route, just not where they actually mattered. 🤣

Oliver: “Extraordinary, mate. I gave you the bloody directions, and you still drove into a ditch.”

Maybe we'll blame the Black Dog remodeling.

Walls moving.
Things everywhere.
Scott's clearly confused.
Unfortunately, the treble and double beds haven't moved an inch. 😂

And Oliver has now officially met Scott Borden.

Something tells us this is going to become a very long and financially beneficial relationship for USA Darts Academy. 😭

All kidding aside, Scott keeps showing up and supporting youth darts, even while dealing with his own challenges.

That says far more about Scott than any missed checkout ever could. Thank you again, Scott. 🇺🇸🎯

Oliver appreciates the $20. He just doesn't appreciate the darts. 🇬🇧😂

$20 per attempt
100% goes to USA Darts Academy and youth darts in America. 🎯

🎯🇬🇧 OLIVER’S FIRST VICTIM: DANIEL AUSTIN 🇬🇧🎯

Daniel Austin and Scott Borden walked into Black Dog today, and Daniel became the first brave soul to take on Oliver’s Bloody Dream Out.

Daniel stepped up dressed like he had a tee time after darts.

Preppy blue shirt.
Golf-looking shoes.
Country club energy.

Oliver took one look and said:

“Bloody hell, are you here to play darts or discuss your handicap over a gin and tonic?” 😂

Daniel’s number: 89. Not bad.

For Oliver, that’s practically charity.

First dart: 7
Oliver:
“Oh, splendid. Twenty numbers on the board and you picked one that does bugger-all.”

Second dart: 14
GAME OVER.

Oliver didn’t even need the third dart. “Cheers, mate. Lovely shirt. Terrible darts.” 😭

At this point, Luke Littler can probably sleep easy. Oliver:
“It's 89, mate. Treble 19, double 16. Two darts. Even Luke Littler wouldn't need a bloody GPS for that route.”

Daniel may not be qualifying for the Premier League anytime soon, but he did make history as Oliver’s first victim.

And more importantly, he stepped up and donated $20 to USA Darts Academy to support youth darts in America.

Thank you, Daniel. 👏🎯

Next time, leave the golf shoes at home. They didn’t help the short game either. 😂

$20 per attempt
100% goes to USA Darts Academy 🎯

🎯 THE DREAM OUT IS BACK! - AND THIS TIME IT’S BRITISH, PI**ED OFF, AND WORTH $200

Ladies and gentlemen, dart players, pub philosophers, professional excuse-makers, people who swear “that was almost a treble,” Scott Borden, and every other poor bastard who has donated money just to be publicly humiliated at Black Dog...

We have an announcement.
THE DREAM OUT IS BACK!!!!

But things have changed. Apparently the original Dream Out wasn't difficult enough. So we imported a problem from Britain.

His name is Oliver. 🇬🇧 Oliver is a Winmau Blade Champions Choice training dartboard. Smaller trebles. Smaller doubles. Less room for BS. And because he's English, he naturally believes he knows more about darts than every American who walks through our door.

Quite frankly, He probably does. Oliver has been informed about the Dream Out, the prizes, our players, and the long history of people stepping to the oche with enormous confidence...only to put their first dart in the 1.

Oliver responded: “So these people actually PAY to do this?” Yes, Oliver. Yes, they do. And every penny goes to USA Darts Academy. 🇺🇸🎯

HERE'S HOW OLIVER'S BLOODY DREAM OUT WORKS:

🎯 $20 donation to USA Darts Academy for each attempt.
🎯 Oliver generates your checkout completely at random.
🎯 Every number will be between 81 and 170.

Read that again. 81 TO 170.

Oliver doesn't give a damn whether you're a beginner, an A1 player, a Classic player, a professional, a sales rep, a board member, or someone who once hit a 180 in 2007 and still tells everyone about it.

There are no sympathy numbers.
No 51. No 62. No cute little 40.

Oliver says:
“If you wanted something easy, mate, you should've taken up bloody cornhole.” 😂😂😂

And there's another problem. You're not throwing at a normal dartboard.

You're throwing at OLIVER. The Winmau Blade Champions Choice is a TRAINING BOARD with reduced doubles, trebles and a bull the size of a dime. That means all those darts you've been calling “almost a treble” are about to receive an official British diagnosis:

“No, mate. You f@ck..g missed.” 😂 But if you're actually good enough to shut Oliver's mouth
THE PRIZE JUST GOT A LOT BIGGER!

Successfully complete your Dream Out checkout, and you win:
💰 $200 BLACK DOG DARTS & BILLIARDS GIFT CARD

PLUS

🍺 A 5-PUNCH TOURNAMENT ENTRY CARD FROM DRINKS SALOON

Now we're talking. But Oliver would like everyone to remember why a dartboard has 20 sitting between 5 and 1. The board was designed to punish rubbish accuracy.

Aim at 20 and drift left? 5.
Drift right? 1.

Oliver calls that: “Consequences.”

So when somebody inevitably steps up, announces they're going T20, and throws a 1, Oliver will be waiting. “Splendid. Over a century of dartboard design specifically intended to punish bad throwing, and you've just demonstrated it beautifully.” 🤣🤣🤣

Oliver also knows his darts history. He knows about darts developing from old throwing games and military pastimes. He knows about English pubs. He knows the legends surrounding the oche. He knows the modern throwing distance is 7 feet, 9¼ inches.

And he's already warned us:
“If one of these bloody Yanks misses the board completely, don't tell me they were standing too far away. The distance has been sorted for decades.” 😂

BUT THERE'S MORE.
Oliver isn't replacing the original Dream Out. When remodeling at Black Dog Darts & Billiards is complete.

THE ORIGINAL DREAM OUT RETURNS. 🎯🔥

That's right.
The original Dream Out will remain:
🎯 $10 donation to USA Darts Academy
💰 $100 Black Dog Darts & Billiards Gift Card for a successful checkout
🍺 PLUS a 5-Punch Drinks Saloon Tournament Entry Card

So eventually you'll have a choice.

THE ORIGINAL DREAM OUT
or...
OLIVER'S BLOODY DREAM OUT. 🇬🇧

One board will take your $10 and lightly roast you.

The other will take your $20, question your darting ability, insult your checkout math, mock your equipment, explain precisely why you missed, and possibly reconsider American independence.

Two boards.
Two challenges.
Two prize levels.

ONE PURPOSE. Supporting youth darts in America. 🇺🇸🎯

And THAT is the important part.
Every $20 donated for an attempt on Oliver goes to USA Darts Academy to help support and grow opportunities for young dart players.

Learn more about the Academy at: usadartsacademy.org

So come into Black Dog. Meet Oliver. Step to the oche. Take your number. And find out whether you're actually as good as you've been telling everybody you are.

Oliver will be waiting.
🇬🇧 “Bring your darts, bring your $20, and bring your best checkout game.”

“Because I don't give a flying f@ck what your league average is.”

🎯🇬🇧 THE DREAM OUT IS BACK. 🇺🇸🎯

And this time...

THE BOARD TALKS MORE SH*TE BACK.

🎯 BIG NEWS FROM BLACK DOG DARTS! 🎯

We’re proud to introduce USA Darts Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young people grow through the sport we love.

Darts gives young players more than a game. Every practice session is a chance to build confidence, focus, sportsmanship, and real-world math skills. Through coaching, mentorship, and competition, the academy aims to give more youth a place to learn, belong, and pursue their goals.

We’re also asking our darts community to help make those opportunities possible. Donations can help young players with tournament registration fees, travel, and lodging expenses. Every contribution helps open a door for a young player. You can donate on the USA Darts Academy website or on GoFundMe. USA Darts Academy is a 501(c)(3).
