Yesterday was one of the scariest days we’ve had with our daughter and son in law’s puppy.

After playing in the creek that runs through our property, she suddenly became weak, lost the use of her back legs, started vomiting, and became very lethargic. She was rushed to the emergency vet, where she tested positive for THC. We believe she likely found and ate something that had been discarded along the creek.

We’re not posting this to judge anyone. We simply want to ask everyone who enjoys fishing or spending time along the creek to please clean up after yourselves. Even something that seems small or harmless can become life-threatening to a curious puppy, another pet, or even a child.

We work hard to stock this creek and keep it a place everyone can enjoy. Please help us keep it safe for all who visit.

Our sweet girl is recovering, and we’re incredibly thankful. ❤️
