In the beginning....Club was created by Brandon Cummings , Chris Campbell & Bridgett Campbell in 2007 in hopes to connect the Off Road enthusiests of what is called Southside Virginia. These founding members who are all related moved from New Jersey (yes they are damn yankee's lol ) to Virginia in 2007 .Being Off-Roaders themselves they began to look for places to play and found that there was no
where to go ridng or mud bogging legally because every square inch of the state of VA seemed to be private property. In an attempt to make friends with similar interest, Southside Off-Road was formed. Unfortunatly tragedy struck the club when one of the founding members (Chris Campbell) passed away loosing his battle with cancer :-( However the vision they had continued to grow while Brandon Cummings and Bridgett Campbell took the reigns. Soon new friends were made such as Brandon Whitehead and Kevin Foster who stepped up to the plate and helped with both planning Off-Roading trips and assisting in running the web pages. Thanks to the vision of our founding members and the assistance of our club members , SSOR has grown to be a very popular club in Va attracting people from all over the state and beyond to join us on trips or even just chat/sell/trade etc on our fb page. The page has become so popular that it had to be changed to a "fan" style page in 2013 because the original page maxed out at 5000 friends. SSOR has also been known to help out local members with the install of suspension lifts etc on their rigs. Help us keep growing as a club and come on out to some of our events such as mud bogs and rock crawling trips.
