Winds have been brutal these past two weekends. Mid day bite seems to be best. Some lakes are in the process of turning over. Bigger lakes have a little ways to go.

We are past peak for fall colors. Sorry I haven’t been very active on here last couple months. Things have been crazy. Managed to get out a little this past weekend. Had 6 follows in the heat and hurricane winds on Saturday. I also took pictures of a Swan family. This is the 3rd year in a row I have seen Swans on this lake. They are banded but I wish they would have neck collars like you see on Canadian Geese. That way I could tell if they are the same ones year after year.

Still time to book a fall trip with me. The hunt for giants is just getting started.

Last night of Monday Night Muskie League our team got it done. We were in last place up until last week. Two fish last week for 2nd and 3rd place. This week 3 fish for 1st, 2nd and 4th place. I missed getting third because my fish was caught 30 minutes later. We should have solidified 5th place for sure. Maybe even got 4th. We shall see. Not to bad of a come back considering we were down a boat all season long. Another great year of fishing Monday Night League.

Landed a nice 36.75 tagged musky the other day after work. Not running any day trips until this heat wave goes away and water temps fall back down. May try some midnight to 7am trips if night time water temperatures allow. Switching gears to walleye and/or bass this week.
