The Prinoth Feld Service Rep teamed up with Tim to install a couple of new engine parts on our BR275 groomer and everything worked out well.......our fleet of three groomers will see initial preseason service during snowmaking which isnt that far off.

This mess is the aftermath of having the LMC2100 grooming machine up on blocks and flushing the transmission with almost 3 qts of cleaner and about 28 qts of transmission fluid. The machine, with a rebuilt transmission , went out of service after only about 3 hours last winter. The contractor who did the rebuild accidently hooked up the wrong lines and the transmission ended up with a lot of the wrong stuff going into it. Anyway we completed the correction this weekend plus completed some upgrades to the handbrake, shifter lever positioning, standby emergency electrical steering, spark plug wiring, and a new starter . We'll be doing a couple of new tires and standard grease job and it will be ready to go. The LMC1200 groomer had a steering problem resolved a few weeks ago. The BR275 Groomer is getting some speed control sensors and regulators replaced by the Prynoth field service reps in a couple of weeks. That will complete the pre season prep of our three grooming machines. Next up is completion of preseason prep work on the chairlift , completion of the new auxiliary stopping system on the rope tow, completion of Blue T Bar preseason prep and auxiliary intercom and then there snowmaking and the snowmaking system ..lots of good stuff happening there.

Falls right around the corner and though we are sort of out of sight we aren't going to let ourselves get out of mind (hmmm some might think we might be out of mind-ours) anyway....chairlift annual maintenance and upgrades in process some parts on order but its going well, also slow but continuous progress on all groomers , more snowmaking machines to be delivered soon, and believe it or not I'm getting more optimistic about the website.

Looking for part time winter employment ?

Like to know more about becoming a member of our volunteer ski patrol ?

We are taking information for our home school season passes.

Also looking for potential snowboard instructors and ski instructors to expand out ski school team.

Keep having summer fun and we'll keep prepping for winter.

The first real cool down start in the 3rd week of October according to long range forecast. Hmmm

08/08/2026

There should be some sort of regulation that says people over a certain age should not have to learn how to build web pages. If/when this thing ever gets launched there will probably be a whole bunch of people who agree with me.

Temperature predictions into October are going the right way.

Progress on our groomers going the right way.

Work on our snowmaking expansion going the right way

You can enjoy all these things and more ..... all kinds of ways you can become part of the fun.....some new ways to be announced .

Well this Canadian smoke has put a damper on outside things so here's a couple of things you can spin your wheels on while waitng for the clear up....the Camp 10 menu. Last winter we changed pretzel suppliers and Nora experimented with different preparations and pretzels became an even bigger big hit. Trying some beverages and discovered there are some pretty good new thing's on the market. Someone suggested maybe some fried onions as a garnish on our already popular cheeseburgers. Any suggestions you'd like us to consider ?

The outside stuff resumes soon - process routine and improvement maintenance on the three groomers, installation of some new brake parts on the chairlift, running new underground wiring for a second auxiliary brake switch on the rope tow, more planning on the red t bar project, communication wires on the blue t bar, considering another temporary lift to access some back runs, gettng a new web site and implementing credit card sales methods, setting up for INDY PASS program, and of course a very thorough check out and new equipment set ups in our snowmaking department.

It seems a bit strange to be working on snowgroomng equipment when ts 95 degrees outside and no shade. But then theres a rumor that most people who live and breath sking or snowboardng are a bit er, how shall we say "off the beam"". So now we have some shade in place and its back to the project. in about 3 and 1/2 months we could be making snow. (yep, you are right you do have to be a bit off the beam to be in this but most of us who are love it)
