About a year ago, Maximus Sh*ticus starting limping with no shown nor heard pain. Months ago after a series of tests with little signs of pain, x-rays shown he was suffering a tear to his Canine Cruciate Ligament.

Our vet, Spring Hill Vet, referred us to Thrive Pet Healthcare hospital and surgical specialists.

Dr. Kats was great at handling our beast. Dr. Katz cleared him today for return to activities of normal Team As***le Huskies lives with his brothers.

All this a day after Spring Hill Vet Clinic Owner and Dr. Amy performed his annual checkup and saw his much improved movement since our last visit when x-rays discover the tear.

Both veterinarian facilities is highly recommended. Everyone has been great!

It has been a year of soft life for 5-year old Maximus Sh*ticus. But now it's time to get moving again.

Maximus Sh*ticus just went into surgery to repair his canine crucial ligament (ACL in the knee of humans). The smallest pup we had is living true to his first name as he is the largest of the pack and larger than pretty much any Siberian Husky everyone has ever seen. Yet, he is the biggest baby.

I expect the most brutal day since his neutering, where he whined and cried like a baby until the sedation meds left his system. Adding two psycho-energy brothers that will be happy to see him after their seperation today. That grossly overwhelms more than the nice surgical bill that was just paid.

Nonetheless, we finally found what was hampering his activity levels for almost a year now. Two weeks of massive restrictions ahead. Then gradual increase of activity back to all out 500+ lbs of pulling force running in three months.

I cannot wait to get him back to himself, running with his As***le bros.

Happy birthday to the King As***le, the Maximus... the Sh*ticus!

Today marks 5 years of life for Maximus Sh*ticus. What an absolute, yet loveable, beast!

Unfortunately, we just found out yesterday that he has a torn ACL and needs surgery, so he will have to slow down even more than he has been over the last year. Don't know how or when it started to tear but has recently been bothering him more and more.

Spring Hill Veterinary Clinic has been so good with him and his brothers, so will foster an awesome recovery.

There is nothing that is going to stop this As***le!
