The Idaho Ballroom Academy is a program for youth ages 6 - 18. Dancers meet once a week during the school year for a team practice to learn performance routines and ballroom technique. They perform at many local events including half-times, floor shows, school assemblies, and concerts. During the summer they travel to England to compete in an international competition or to Southern California for a family-based travel performance experience.

Europe 2026 tour, final part! ✈️ London and Stonehenge! 🗿 It was an amazing last leg of the tour in London. The group got to experience Stonehenge, Buckingham Palace, Wicked, Platform 9 3/4, and lots more! It was an amazing trip, and if you have been inspired by their travels, start saving up for our next trip in 2029! 👀

Europe 2026 tour pt 3! 💃🕺 Our group spent some time in Munich, saw Neuschwanstein castle 🏰, went through the salt mines of Salzburg, Austria, saw the Eiffel Tower, went to the D-Day beaches, and got to perform for a church youth group! It’s been so fun to see all their adventures! Stay tuned for the last leg of their trip! 😁

School is starting, which means it’s time to start thinking about ballroom again! 🤔💭 If you are a returning dancer, make sure you find your IBA shirts, black pants, and dig out your dance shoes from the bottom of your closet! 👟 If you are a new dancer this year, we’re so excited for you! 😁 Make sure you have comfy clothes to dance and move around in and wear tennis shoes!
