There are some moments in life that remind you what truly matters.
This Sunday, I had the privilege of spending the afternoon golfing with my dad. For the past three years, he’s been courageously battling prostate cancer, enduring chemo treatments, doctor’s appointments, tests, and more challenges than most people will ever know. Yet every time we’re together, he still finds reasons to smile, laugh, and enjoy the day.
Some of my favorite moments aren’t even the golf shots—they’re the conversations riding in the golf cart, laughing about life, teasing each other over our swings, and simply enjoying being together. Those are the memories that stay with me.
Watching my mom walk beside him through every appointment, every treatment, every difficult day, and every victory has been one of the greatest examples of unconditional love I’ve ever witnessed. She has been his rock, his caregiver, his encourager, his advocate, and his best friend. Her unwavering faith, strength, and devotion through some of the hardest months and years have been nothing short of inspiring.
Mom and Dad, thank you for showing our family what commitment, perseverance, faith, and unconditional love truly look like. Your example is a gift that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I don’t take these days for granted. Every round of golf, every conversation, every laugh, and every hug is a blessing. I’m so thankful for the memories we’re still making together, and I cherish every single one.
I love you both more than words can express. ❤️⛳
