Great day of diving today. 3 divers and the boat had a total of 39 lobsters. Calm seas, great visibility, warm water. We are looking forward to the next one.

A good day for a day off

We are diving this weekend. We currently have just 3 divers for Saturday. There is plenty of room on the boat. Come and join us. We are also taking the boat out Sunday with 6 divers. As a private boat we can take more than 6. Come on out!

North Shore Dive Club was out today. Only 3 divers got the day off from work. We came close to all 3 maxing out on lobsters. Come dive with us and fill the boat and share in the lobsters!

Why do we band lobsters? So that they don't fight while they are confined in a bag. We hang them over the side of the boat to keep them alive in the water.

Dragon skull??? Certainly not a seagull skull. Recovered in July off Nahant by the dive club. Found another at same location 2019. I'm going with Dragon until proven wrong. So far veterinarians have not identified this creature. dragonsarealive

Both of these lobsters were measured as legal underwater before I put them in my catch bag. (They were also checked for eggs and V notches.) But our dive club always confirms each other's catch back on the boat. Here is how you check...
