Taekwon-Do offers more than 3,200 training methods and educational elements that support lifelong learning and personal growth. This martial art system was founded and developed by General Choi Hong Hi with the vision of creating not only skilled practitioners, but also better human beings through discipline, respect, and continuous self-development.
At American Taekwon-Do Martial Arts Academy (ATMAA), we proudly combine traditional martial arts values with modern sports Taekwon-Do training. Our approach goes beyond physical techniques — we emphasize physical, mental, spiritual, educational, philosophical, and historical development while promoting unity, respect, and harmony among all members.
Our training philosophy is simple: to develop strong minds, healthy bodies, good character, and responsible citizens. Taekwon-Do is not only about learning techniques — it is about building confidence, discipline, humility, kindness, self-control, leadership, and lifelong values.
ATMAA offers diverse training programs designed to meet the interests and goals of different individuals. We welcome students of all ages and backgrounds because martial arts is for everyone — not only for children or competitive athletes.
We believe that true martial arts strength is not measured by fancy techniques, but by a person’s attitude, respect, humility, consistency, and willingness to continue learning. Techniques improve over time for those who train with dedication, patience, and perseverance.
If you have an interest in learning martial arts, the doors of ATMAA are open to everyone from Monday through Sunday.
ATMAA’s primary mission is not business. Our vision is to serve the community, support people of all ages, and contribute to building stronger individuals, better families, and responsible citizens across the United States through the values of Taekwon-Do.
Martial Arts is more than ranks and medals — it is a way of life.
Train with purpose.
Grow with humility.
Lead with respect.
Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude and deepest appreciation to our respected Masters, instructors, parents, and all dedicated members for your continuous support, trust, cooperation, and harmony. Your commitment, kindness, and belief in our shared vision make ATMAA not only a martial arts academy, but a true family. Together, we continue building stronger minds, healthier bodies, and a better community for future generations.
