We’re happy to announce Clod.Parts as a new sponsor for the 2026 Summer Showdown this Saturday at AMain Hobbies Silver Dollar RC Raceway in Chico!

The name says it all as they produce Clodbuster-based kits and aftermarket parts machining all G10, Carbon Fiber, and most brass parts in house. They sent us some of their Retrobuster kits as well as a 6x6 chassis to give away on Saturday, so expect to see more Retro class entries next season!

Wishing you all a happy Labor Day as we get closer to the 2026 Summer Showdown this Saturday in Chico! We’ve got some more great stuff to give away courtesy of Charles and Wyatt Leggette who make the trek all the way out from Mammoth Lakes to attend our events.

They’re bringing some Mammoth Mountain swag, a brand new Hobbywing MAX10 140 amp 4000 KV system, and 3D printed trays to be raffled off. Rumor has it they may even be debuting a new identity so make sure to come check it out this Saturday in Chico!

In addition to having this beautifully restored, one of a kind truck on display, he’ll be judging the “Scale AF Show-N-Shine” competition for all trucks competing before we go qualifying Saturday afternoon at the AMain Hobbies Silver Dollar RC Raceway in Chico.

Next week is the 2026 Summer Showdown at the AMain Hobbies Silver Dollar RC Raceway in Chico! Here’s a preview of the racing layout we’ll be running for all classes inspired by the real Toughest Monster Truck Tour event held in Lamar, MO earlier this year. And yes, we will have a giant dirt obstacle filled with all kinds of crush cars in the middle to hit from all angles in freestyle.
