Registration spots are limited. Weather permitting, this event will be held at The Loop Pavilion at J.R. Martin Park!

Follow the yellow brick road to The Amp on Saturday, September 19, for a special showing of Wicked! Gather your family and friends for an unforgettable evening featuring character meet-and-greets, a bounce house, face painting, and balloon twisting.

Pre-movie activities begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the movie at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $2 per person when purchased in advance or $3 per person at the event. Each ticket includes free popcorn! Purchase your tickets today at recdesk.republicparks.com (under Special Events).

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for our 12th Annual got Mud? Run on August 22! We hope you had as much fun getting muddy as we did watching you conquer the course. Thank you for making another year of got Mud? Run one to remember.

**WALKING TRACK UPDATE**

Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, August 27, the Community Center’s indoor walking track will reopen to the public at 6:00 AM!

Patrons may notice some light dust as floor work continues on the courts. However, the walking track, handrails, staircases, and elevator have been cleaned and are ready for use.

Courts 1 & 2 will remain closed for several more weeks as staining, painting, and multiple layers of water-based coating are completed. Each phase requires specific curing time before the next can begin.

And have we mentioned that the Community Center’s walking track and amenities are FREE? No membership or residency is required. Everyone is welcome! If that is news to you, let us know in the comments. We always love helping community members discover everything the Community Center has to offer!

Thank you for your continued patience throughout this project. We look forward to seeing you back on the track tomorrow morning!

*WALKING TRACK UPDATE*

Following updates from contractors, the basketball court sanding process will require additional time. Walking track cleaning is now expected to be completed on Wednesday, with the indoor walking track reopening by 6:00 AM on Thursday, August 27.

We apologize for the variation in timeline and appreciate your continued patience as this important court-refinishing project is completed. We cannot wait to see community members back on the indoor track!

*WALKING TRACK UPDATE*

The Community Center’s indoor walking track will remain closed through today, Monday, August 24, as sanding continues on our basketball courts.

The basketball courts will remain closed for the next few weeks as the refinishing process continues. However, we are hopeful that the walking track will be ready to reopen by 6:00 AM tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25.

We will provide another update later today to confirm whether the walking track will be ready to reopen tomorrow morning.

Mud... Mud... MUD!! Who's ready for the got Mud? Run?! Venture to Brookline Park TOMORROW, Saturday, August 22 for the muddiest, messiest, most epic obstacle course around! Exciting upgrades are coming to our court floors!

Courts 1 and 2 are undergoing a complete renovation, requiring temporary closures of both courts and the walking track:

-Walking Track: August 18 – August 23
-Courts 1 and 2: August 18 – September 6

Please note that these dates are tentative and subject to change based on the project’s progress and completion status. Stay tuned to our page for further updates!

The Food Drive starts today!

Help support Ozarks Food Harvest by donating nonperishable food items through noon on August 28. See the attached imagery to learn where and when you can donate!

Most-needed items include:
- Tuna or other canned meat
- Peanut butter
- Boxed meals, rice, and pasta
- Beans, soups, or stews
- Cereal
- Canned fruit and veggies
