Okay all you Pro's and Duffer's, check this out! There is a super new activity on the lake, the Short Game Golf Course located across the street from Tiffany's Resort on the west side. Fisherman's Cove has been allowed to sponsor a hole which gives our guests a discount when visiting the course.

Many thanks to the Short family for creating this beautiful addition to the Curlew Lake experience, we wish you well with this terrific endeavor!

Okay all you ice cream lovers, ice cream is ON. Only vanilla today but we will have chocolate by next weekend.

You may have noticed no update on Saturday...no one told me I had to have an IT degree to run the machine but all obstacles have been overcome after a sleepless night and lots of help from Google.......

Should we have a "Name the Ice Cream Machine" contest?

Stop the presses! Just heard from Jake, he has the new ice cream machine in his truck and is on his way home from Spokane! This little baby will put out 11 gallons of ice cream per hour for all you ice cream lovers, and yes, we will finally have chocolate ice cream again. Yahoo!

We would like to introduce two new "Cove" family members, the newly married Mr. Alec and Mrs. Riley Lynn Poff! They chose to share their very special life event here last weekend with their friends and we are so honored they decided to do it here. They had to wait but were finally able to catch some good weather to exchange their vows on a pontoon boat, what could be better than that?

We thank the Poffs' and wish them many years of fond memories and good fishing here at the "Cove".

We are shutting the Shack down, only 2 guests today and can't pay the bills on that! We will be open next Friday, hopefully weather will be better. Have a good week everyone, see you then.

Happy Friday Everyone! Have a couple of things to share.

First, today looks like a pretty decent day, weather-wise, to visit the Shack for those so inclined. Unlike tomorrow which looks cold and wet and we will until tomorrow to make the call on the hours we will be open, pray for better weather!

Now, the bad news/good news. Bad news: the ice cream machine is dead. The good news: we were able to find a machine that will be able to make 11 gallons of ice cream per hour so no more waiting while our old machine cools down! And, we will finally have chocolate ice cream again, hurray! We will hopefully be picking up that machine the end of next week in Spokane.

So once again, we thank everyone for their patience and tolerance at this time, and, here it comes......our Fisherman's Cove friends and family are the BEST!

Dearly Beloved's,

It is with deep sadness and remorse that we must announce the passing of our........ice cream machine. There is hope of resurrection in the next 10 days depending of finding parts for a machine that was born in 1989.

However, we still do have our renowned ice cream sandwiches and of course, our peanut and chocolate bars and Heath bars to help us sustain this painful loss. We will keep you informed, thank you for your understanding.
