From the very beginning, my kids have been part of this journey. Before the brand had recognition, before the packed events, before people knew the name, it was just us figuring it out together. This photo was taken at our very first tradeshow, and when I look at it now, I don’t just see a booth… I see the beginning of a dream we were all carrying together.
My children have watched me build this business from the ground up. They’ve seen the long nights, the stress, the sacrifices, the moments I questioned myself, and the moments I kept going anyway. They’ve helped pack orders, sat through vendor events, waited during meetings, listened to me talk through ideas, and supported me in ways children probably never fully realize they’re doing.
Being a single mother while building a business is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. There were days I felt stretched thin trying to be everything at once. But one thing I’ll always be proud of is that my sons didn’t just witness me chasing a dream; they witnessed resilience, faith, creativity, and what it looks like to keep showing up even when things are uncertain.
A lot of people see the business now, but they don’t always see the family behind it. They don’t see the little hands that helped carry boxes, the hugs after hard days, the encouragement that kept me moving, or the reason I pushed so hard in the first place.
This business may have my name attached to it, but my children are woven into every part of it. They are a part of the story, a part of the motivation, and a huge part of the reason I never gave up.
So this Mother’s Day, I’m not just celebrating being a mom. I’m celebrating the fact that my children got to grow alongside my dreams. And no matter how far this business goes, this picture will always remind me where it truly started: with love, sacrifice, and my babies right beside me the entire way. 🤍
