The Shepherds Hook Kayak Rental is having an OUT OF BUSINESS SALE!!!

Due to multiple injuries I suffered in a violent attack while working at the Kendrew IRA 2 years ago, I am still unable to reopen the kayak rentals. My brain injury and injuries to neck, shoulder, back, wrists, hands, eye and ear still cause too much pain and confusion for me. Therefore I am selling my fleet. Good quality kayaks for sale.

The Shepherd's Hook Kayak Rental is CLOSED for the 2023 Season.
Last fall I was badly injured and currently am unable to do what running the business requires. Planning to RE-OPEN in 2024.

Brr!! Weather has not been very nice for SunRIse paddles lately... But we have been getting at least a few hours per day of Summer Weather! Make the most of the last of our short North Country Summer by spending a couple of hours on the water with a Kayak Rental from The Shepherd's Hook.

We offer 2 Hour Rental for $30, 4 Hour Rental for $50.
Kayak Delivery and Pickup Free within 20 miles of Rensselaer Falls; many beautiful waterways to explore in this area.

NEW 2022 - Now Offering - the Cooper's Falls Special -
Paddle out from our home location, upriver along a remote wooded shoreline on smooth water for 1.5 miles to Cooper's Falls, and slow float/paddle back - - $30 for 3 Hours.

We deliver kayaks to your desired location within a 20 mile radius of Rensselaer Falls New York. Several beautiful places to paddle in this area. See our photos for some local favorites or plan your own route.
Kayak drop off and pickup included with every rental. Destinations beyond 20 miles available for an additional charge.

Every Friday Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
available for Questions, Same Day Rentals, and Advance Reservations. (Rentals during non-business hours available by advance reservation only.)
RENTAL RATES 2022
Rates include Kayak, Paddle, & Life Jacket
2 Hour Rental $ 30
4 Hour Rental $ 50
8 Hour Rental $ 75
Multi-Day $ 150 for up to 3 consecutive days
